Piccolo stood at the edge of the lookout, his arms crossed tightly over his chest as he gazed out into the distance. The wind rustled his cape, but his mind was too preoccupied to notice. For days now, he had been grappling with a decision that weighed heavily on him, and the time had finally come to act on it.

He had to break up with you.

You were everything to him—kind, strong, and compassionate—but that was exactly why he had to do this. Piccolo had convinced himself that you deserved more, someone who could fully devote themselves to you, someone who wasn't constantly distracted by battles, training, and the ever-present danger that seemed to follow him.

And deep down, there was a part of him that whispered that he simply wasn't good enough for you.

When you arrived at the lookout that day, you could sense something was off. Piccolo's usual stoic demeanor was tinged with an uncharacteristic unease, and it made your heart clench with worry.

"Piccolo?" you asked gently, stepping closer to him. "Is everything okay?"

Piccolo looked down at you, his expression unreadable. He took a deep breath, steeling himself for what he was about to say.

"I... we need to talk," he began, his voice firm but betraying the turmoil within him. "I've been thinking, and I've come to the conclusion that it's best if we end things between us."

The words hit you like a punch to the gut. "What?" you whispered, feeling the ground shift beneath your feet. "Why? What's going on?"

Piccolo forced himself to maintain his composure. "You deserve someone who can give you their full attention, someone who isn't constantly distracted by battles and training. I can't be that person for you, and it's not fair to you."

"That's not true," you argued, your voice shaking. "I don't care about any of that. I love you, Piccolo, and I'm willing to be by your side through everything."

He shook his head, his resolve wavering for just a moment. "It's too dangerous," he insisted. "I can't put you in harm's way, and I can't keep you from the life you deserve. This is the right decision."

Tears welled up in your eyes, but you could see that Piccolo's mind was made up. "If this is really what you want..." you said, your voice breaking. "Then I won't stop you. But just know that I never wanted this."

Piccolo felt a pang in his chest as he watched you turn and walk away, your shoulders slumped in defeat. He had hurt you, and it tore him apart inside, but he believed he was doing the right thing. Even if it meant losing you.

Weeks passed, and the pain of the breakup lingered like a dark cloud over you. You tried to move on, to focus on other things, but everywhere you went, you were reminded of Piccolo. It was as if he had left a piece of himself with you, and no matter how hard you tried, you couldn't shake the feeling of emptiness.

Eventually, you sought comfort in a friend—Bulma. She had always been a source of support, and when you told her about the breakup, she was quick to offer her advice.

"Piccolo's an idiot," Bulma declared one day as the two of you sat together in her living room. "But maybe he just needs a little push to realize how much of an idiot he's being."

"What do you mean?" you asked, wiping away the remnants of your tears.

Bulma grinned, a mischievous glint in her eye. "How about we set you up on a blind date? It doesn't have to be anything serious, just something to get you back out there. And who knows? Maybe it'll make Piccolo realize what he's missing."
