'The Everything Festival,' also known as one of USC's largest yearly events, for just about the entire student body would show up at some point to partake in the whirlwind of activities.

Amidst it was an outdoor silent movie night in the campus courtyard- with headphones provided- then food trucks parked on the pavement just behind the grass, small yard games, a yoga session, mobile shops for those into fashion, karaoke, and networking in the student center for the clubs and organizations.

All knew that if there was any time during the semester to meet new people and broaden their horizons, it was this festival.

Ready wasn't even the word.

"Raya quit cheating!"

"Nooo you gone hit mee," she squealed while Quincy chased her down with a ball in his right hand. Halting in her tracks then, Soraya ran the other way at the sight of Isaiah with a ball of his own, headed for her with an impish smile. "Nooo," she giggled and screamed.

"You might as well be still 'cause I'm gone hit yo ass," he exclaimed while raising the ball, his smile bright as she started to zigzag away from him.

"Just take the L Raya, you all outta balls," Quincy threw one at her, missing just as inch as she did a quick spin out of dodge. Though the second she did, Isaiah threw his, hitting her right in the chest. "Dramatic ass-" they snickered at their friend hitting the ground as if a bullet had wiped her out.

Mid laughter and conversation- while wearing jean shorts and cropped 'USC' tees, one with a knot at the back at the other with one on the side- Paris and Eve peered over at the intense game of dodgeball on their way from a taco truck.

"Raya sweetie," Paris exclaimed with a chuckling hand aside her mouth. "You okay, babygirl??"

"No," Soraya groaned, still lying on the soft grass with her arms and legs sprawled out. "Them asshats tried to kill me-"

"And you'll stay outta this 'less you wanna be next hm?" Quincy pointed with the ball in his hand, raising an eyebrow at his other two friends across the yard.

Giggling with their hands held up, Paris and Eve scurried away from the courtyard, heading down the concrete hill toward the grand student center.

"That poor thing," Eve chuckled, shaking her head.

"Oh best believe she's gonna make them pay later," Paris chimed with a knowing grin.

Coldplay's 'Clocks' blared intimately from speakers all around the inner campus. Somewhere beside the dodgeball game was a football game, then a set up of four-way outdoor volleyball, providing the former high school athletes and current student athletes a thrill like no other.

Girls- beautiful and authentic in their every shape, size, and skin color- walked along the campus in sundresses, crop tops, shorts, cargos, skirts, and baggy or tight tees. Boys- young, dumb, and free without a care in the world- strolled around in t-shirts, gym shorts, sweats, and hats or bandanas. Everyone was in a group or world of their own, clad in pairs or bunches of three or four. And even some of the staff seemed to be having quite a time as well, for this event was social for every part of the University of South California.

Entering the building with paper bowls of two heaven scented tacos each, Paris and Eve made their way to the second level, searching for the remaining two of their friend group.

"Dudee, what's his name hooked me upp," Eve groaned into the last bite of her filled taco, rolling her eyes under her lids at the impeccable taste. "Remind me to go back and ask for his hand in marriage."
