"Psychologically," Diamond began as she stood in front of the class, internally fighting off the urge to fidget with her hands. "Our emotions subconsciously affect everything we do. Even with a decision you may perceive to be strictly logical, your emotions are whispering calls from the back of your mind to give its two cents anyway," she explained, exhaling a small laugh of relief once the class responded with faint chuckles and grins of agreement.

"The foundation of our complex emotions have been shaped since any of us have left the womb. Starting with its biological aspect, where an infant attaches to their mother's voice or her skin-to-skin contact. And then it carries on into other family members, the closeness of every relationship being based on the way in which they make us feel... Whether we are aware of it, or not."

A silence of understanding spread throughout the room as Diamond took a glance across the mass of students to where her professor stood, arms folded as he gave her a nod of approval. Nervous still, although with a little more confidence than before, Diamond took a short inaudible breath before continuing.

Today, her hair was down as she wore a black professional pantsuit with a white button down underneath for the seminar she was to lead today in her honors class. One that her professor- and mentor- had encouraged her to take on, despite her pleading otherwise and that he choose someone else; Dr. Livingston was adamant about Diamond performing this particular role.

For the life of her, she couldn't understand where on earth his faith in her was coming from. To Diamond, she was just any ordinary student.

"In young children and pre-teens," she spoke once clicking the small black remote to change the slide. "The human brain is at its most vulnerable state... Here, a person's morals, values, beliefs, and perceptions of reality are shaped. Here, our emotional responses are formed. Our fight or flight begins here, our dreams and desires begin here, our characteristics and personality traits... They all begin in this stage of life. Whether it is to be changed, modified, or shifted later on as a person grows up, or, molded into a more traumatic light that ends up doing more harm than good in their adult years."

Clicking to the next slide, Diamond continued on with her speech with a little less nerves than before.

Meanwhile, for it was now eleven in the morning on a Monday, Ocean was in the middle of a marketing presentation of her very own, with Adrien.

"And so," she continued just after Adrien had finished speaking. "What we did was create three different ads to post around the school. All with three different marketing and advertising strategies, as well as different fonts, colors, shading, wording, etcetera- Just to test the properties of what works best to truly catch the human eye."

Dressed in heels, a pencil skirt and a long sleeved olive green blouse, she walked to the other end before gesturing to her partner for the project, their presentation now between them on display upon the promethean board.
