"you know where to find me
and i know where to look"

The following Monday was different than every one that came before and every one that came after.

This was my first Monday at school with a boyfriend. With Wesley Hicks being my boyfriend.

Being my Wes.

So that morning I stood in the halls of Woodsboro High School with my friends at our usual morning spot by my locker and Chad's, and the only person who hadn't arrived yet was Wes himself.

School started in 5 minutes and he wasn't even there yet. Which was unusual, because Wes was usually the first person there.

"Hey, hey, sorry I'm late, guys." Wes came around the corner and was rushing up to us.

"About time, buddy." Chad shook his head and Wes stopped next to me.

"Hey." He greeted and I smiled, leaning against my closed locker door.

"Hi."

Wes smiled back and leaned in, kissing me on the lips.

When we turned back to the rest of the group, they were all staring.

Wes cleared his throat and adjusted his backpack strap.

"About time!" Mindy exclaimed.

"Yeah, and you owe me five bucks because Y/N made the first move." Tara told her and Mindy groaned. "Isn't that right, Wes?"

Wes' eyebrows scrunched. "Does it matter?"

"Well, that says enough." Amber chuckled.

"Leave him alone, guys." I took Wes' hand in my own and he linked our fingers. "He was the one who asked me out. I just kissed him first."

"And now you're dating?" Chad looked between the two of us before stopping on Wes. "And you didn't tell me?"

"It's been two days." Wes stated and Chad shook his head.

"I can't believe you."

A few of us laughed, then the bell rang, signaling the beginning of first period.

Wes groaned before kissing me quickly. "I'll see you later."

"See you." I replied with a smile, watching as he and Chad made their way down the hall.

"Oh, wow. You're really obsessed with him." Amber chuckled and I shushed her.

"And what about it?" I asked and Tara shook her head.

"Come on, guys, we have math."

"I can't believe you're actually my girlfriend." Wes spoke later that evening. He had come over to my house after school and we were sitting on the couch together watching tv.

"I can't believe you're actually my boyfriend." I told him and he sat up straighter.

"No, I'm being so serious right now." He grabbed my hand and linked our fingers. "I just... I mean, I've liked you for so long it's just..."

A smile grew on my face and I leaned forward to kiss him softly.

He obviously kissed me back and his hand that wasn't holding mine moved to my side.

"I know what you mean, Wes." I told him. "I mean, I might not've liked you for as long, but I like you so much it's unreal."

Wes then held out his arms to hug me and I let my arms make their way around his torso.

Then he pulled me into a kiss, which I gladly returned.

Then we kissed again, and again.

But before Wes' lips could meet mine again, my mom walked into the room.

Cliché, I know, but it happened.

"Oh." She paused and we pulled apart, looking over at where she stood in the living room doorway. "I was just coming to see if you kids would want something to eat, but I guess you're busy... eating each other's mouths."

"Mom!" I covered my face and Wes started to laugh.

"Are the two of you hungry?" She asked. "For food, not each other."

"Oh, my God, Mom." I started to chuckle and she had smiled at her own joke.

"I'm going to the grocery store, I'll be back soon. No sex while I'm gone."

"Of course, we'll save that for when you come back." I replied sarcastically and my mom gave me a look. Wes just avoided all eye contact and was suddenly staring at the tv. "I'm kidding, mom. We've only been dating for a few days, okay?"

We were making out the moment she left the house.

My back was pressed against the couch and Wes was above me as his lips moved up from my neck and to my lips.

One of my hands was up in Wes' dark hair and the other was under his shirt.

The moment was perfect, and I would give anything to go back to one of these days just to see him again. Even if it was just for a second.

Later, when we were back to actually watching tv and trying to pick something to watch, I quickly picked The Proposal.

"It's part of your rom-com-cation." I told Wes with a smile.

"We're still doing that?" He asked and I nodded.

"Duh." I kissed his cheek. "You need to watch all the good ones."

Just for one second.
