By April, our Junior year was coming to an end, which meant that we would be starting our senior year in just a few months, and after that would come college.
Wes and I were both lying on his bed, music was playing on his speaker and my hand was brushing through his hair.
"Do you think we'll still be together by college?" Wes asked me quietly, breaking the silence that had been between us.
"I'd hope so." I replied and he looked up to meet my eyes.
He smiled. "I hope so, too."
"We could go to college together." I suggested, moving further down the bed so my head was next to his. "We could go to Blackmore."
"The one in New York that Mindy and Chad say they're going to?" Wes asked and I nodded.
"Yeah, and we could room with them." I said. "Tara would probably go, too."
"We could get out of Woodsboro." Wes leaned a little closer to me. "That sounds great."
Then there was quiet between us for a second.
"What about after college?" He questioned.
"What do you mean?"
"Like, would we still be dating then?" He clarified and I shook my head.
"No." I didn't know how right I was.
"No?" Wes looked almost hurt. "Oh."
"We wouldn't be dating because we'd be married." I told him before giving him a kiss.
He smiled into it and kissed me again.
"Married? You wanna marry me?" He asked with a chuckle.
"Duh, I plan on being with you forever, Wesley." I lifted my body up to hover over him. "You're my Wes. Forever and always."
Wes looked up at me and lifted his hands to cup the sides of my face.
A smile pulled on my lips as he carefully pulled my face towards his to kiss me.
Then as we kissed he let go of my face and his arms made their way around my lower back and hugged me tightly.
"Good thing I want to stay with you forever, too." He then spun the two of us around so he was looking down at me and my back was against the mattress. "Forever and always."
He just stared down at me after he stopped talking and then kissed me once more.
When he pulled back, I was the first to speak.
"Forever & Always is the name of a Taylor Swift song." I told him and he chuckled.
I can't hear that song anymore without thinking about Wes. It's like he haunts me.
Wes leaned down and kissed me again, but this time it went a little deeper.
We didn't break apart right away, and that led to us making out on his bed.
As his hand was making its way up underneath my shirt, the voice of Judy Hicks came from the hallway.
"Wes? Are you home?"
He was quick to jump up and started frantically brushing down his hair with his hands.
I pulled my shirt back down and picked up my phone quickly as Wes responded to his mother.
"Uh, yeah, Mom." He replied, clearing his throat. "I'm just in my room."
There were a few seconds before his bedroom door opened and Judy entered.
"Oh! Y/N, I didn't realize you were here." She smiled and glanced at Wes for a moment before her eyes moved back to me. "Would you like to stay for dinner tonight?"
"Uh, yes please, Judy." I put on a smile. "Thank you."
"No problem." Then she looked to Wes. "That's actually why I came down here. What do you think we should have for dinner?"
"Um," Wes' eyes flickered from his mom to me, his tone a little awkward. "Could we get sushi?"
"Sure. You good with sushi, Y/N?" Judy asked me and I nodded.
"Yeah, that's good with me." I smiled. "Thank you, Judy."
"I'll go and pick it up, because your boyfriend won't eat it after it's been delivered." Judy told me before making a face at her son.
He's so fussy.
"Okay, it gets all mushy and it's gross. I hate it." Wes frowned before clarifying for his mother, "But I would still eat it, Mom."
"Sure." Judy nodded.
"I would!" Wes huffed a little.
"Alright, honey. I'm going to go order then pick up the food. You two go back to..." Judy looked between us, her eyes narrowed with a bit of a glint in her eye. "Whatever you were doing. Be safe."
Then she closed the door and we listened until we heard her make her way downstairs.
"Oh, my God. She totally knew we were making out." I said with a groan before covering my face in embarrassment.
"What? No, she didn't." Wes' eyebrows were scrunched in confusion. "She just came to ask about dinner."
"'Be safe'? And that look she gave us. She knew." I stated. "My mom has given us that same look."
Wes paused for a moment and looked almost zoned out before he sighed.
"She definitely knew." Wes looked up from the spot on the bed he had been staring at and at me instead.
"So... Should we wait until your mom leaves or..." I asked him and he was quick to have his mouth on mine again.
Not that I was complaining.
"I guess we're not waiting." I spoke in a breathy chuckle as Wes' mouth moved down to my neck.
His hands began pushing up my shirt again, but I carefully pulled his hands back.
"If we're gonna do that, we should definitely wait for your mom to leave, Wes." I told him and he nodded, letting his hands drop to my hips again and letting me slowly kiss down from his mouth and to his jaw.
After a few moments there was the sound of the front door opening and closing from downstairs and our shirts were gone within a matter of seconds.
