The glamouros event took all of my attention. I was happy to be there. It was a wedding anniversary party of one of Ehan's friends. He threw a surprise party for his wife.

I became happy when Ehan asked me to accompany him. It had been days I went for outing. He was too busy in his work that he forgot that there is a human being living with him who needed a little change in her routine.

Ehan introduced me to many people I was unfamiliar with. I knew his close friends. I had met them many times in the past two years of my marriage.

"She is my wife, Mehrbano" He was introducing me to people. His one hand was in his pocket and the other was wrapped around my waist.

I was satisfied and happy on the introduction. I met people with a bright smile on my face but my face lost all it's glory when my eyes fell at her.

I held Ehan's hand tightly who was busy talking with a friend of him. He glanced at me when I held his hand.

"Mehr! Are you fine?" He leaned at my ear.

"I am fine" I tried to smile at him but it was hard for me.

"I will be back in a few minutes" I left his hand and walked to a secluded area where no one could see me, especially my husband.

"Hello Mehrbano!" I heard a familiar voice.

I turned around to see her face. Rahma Ismail smiled at me brightly. I couldn't avert my eyes from her. Rahma was a beautiful woman. It was hard for me to avert my eyes from her.

I only thought what would be it for men to not stare at Rahma, especially Ehan, my husband.

My heart squeezed on the thought of Ehan. I couldn't bear the thought that Ehan would see Rahma differently, like he would be engrossed in her beauty.

"It's impolite to not answer a greeting" Rahma took me out of my thoughts with her words.

"H-Hello!" I greeted her back.

"How are you Mehrbano? It's been a long time since we saw each other" Rahma said to her.

"Yeah. Two years exactly" I replied confidently this time.

"Exactly two years ago when you got married to the man who loved me" Rahma gave me a little smile.

"Rahma! It was past. Get over it" I tried my best to not snap at her.

"Are you sure it's past?" She kept that small smile on her lips.

"Of course"

"It doesn't seem same for your husband who calls me, begs me to be a part of his life. Tell me that he can't love anyone but me. Tell me constantly that he isn't happy with you" Rahma spit the venom.

For a few seconds, I felt as if my heart would stop beating. Rahma's words were unbearable for me.

"You are a disgusting person" I snapped at her and walked away.

I could hear Rahma's laugh behind me. I was disheartened by meeting her. She snatched the little peace that left in my life with her presence and words.

I wasn't sure that I would see her there because as per my knowledge the friend of Ehan who threw the party wasn't friends with Rahma or I was at mistake to think like that. The later one was more acceptable at the moment.

My mind was stuck at Rahma's words.

Did Ehan was still in contact with her after two years of our marriage?

Did he really say to her that he loved no one but her?

I knew this painful truth that he didn't love me. He never said that to me either but I couldn't believe he still loved her. It was unbearable for me to finally realize that he had the same woman in his heart he loved once.

My heart was burning on the mere thought that my husband still loved another woman.

I would die if he accepted it on my face. I loved him with all my heart. I was tolerating his ignorance and his harsh behavior but I wouldn't be able to tolerate him accepting his love for another woman.

I would die that day. The slowly dying woman in me would breath her last if he said those words to me.
