"I really like these flowers. This season is lovely. I enjoy it the most" Zaydan pointed at the beautiful flowers roadside.

I glanced at him. He had a soft smile on his face which widened as our gaze met. I wouldn't lie, his company is nice just like his personality.

"I also like this season but I love winters" I told him, looking at the footpath.

"Winters are boring" He commented.

"No, they aren't" I shook my head.

"I despise them" He replied.

"I enjoy them" I said.

"Then perhaps they are enjoyable" He chuckled softly.

I just passed him a small smile.

In the morning, he offered to have coffee once again and this time I didn't reject it. It wasn't a date anyway. It was just a friendly outing and I enjoyed the whole time.

Zaydan's soft nature is truly appreciable. He is one of the few most encouraging and friendly people in my workspace.

Just then we reached the boutique. This time I wasn't surprised to see Ehan standing at the front of botique. He saw me with Zaydan.

His face dropped low when he saw us together. His eyes screamed thousands of questions. He stood still at his place with his eyes fixed at us.

Zaydan was still chuckling softly but my smile dropped as I saw Ehan.

"What happened?" Zaydan questioned me when I stopped.

"Nothing" I said to him and took a step forward. I wanted to ignore Ehan's presence in front of him. He is my boss I didn't want to create scene in front of him.

"Mehrbano" Ehan called me as I reached near him.

Me and Zaydan both stopped at his voice. Zaydan looked at him and their gaze met.

"I want to talk to you" Ehan asked me seriously.

I was surprised he didn't grab my hand in his insecurities and pulled me to himself.

"Do you know him?" Zaydan questioned me. His eyes scanning Ehan from head to toe and as expected his appearance was reckless.

"Yes. I will talk to him!" I told him.

"Okay. I will be waiting in my office" He told me before leaving.

I nodded at him.

"Yes" I asked sternly when we were alone.

Ehan looked at me silently for a minute.

His eyes didn't had any accusations in them for me and it really shook me. Not that I was having an affair with Zaydan when we weren't divorced yet but the hurt we feel when we see something unexpected wasn't there in his eyes. Anyone can be insecure by watching their partner with someone else so friendly but Ehan didn't show anything.
