Lily got use to her two sided spear surprisingly quickly. It was easy for her to find her balance, learn how to aim, etc. Since she was understanding more quickly than the others, she offered to help them.

What was weird was Vincent's attitude about that. He was more defensive that he knew how to use his spiked club properly. He really didn't, but Lily didn't say anything, or teased him, like George. Mrs. Vesper ended up helping Vincent.

The soreness and swelling definitely increased from the weapon training. The invisibility cream she gave them, helped with the visuals but did not deal with the pain. Lily did suspect that it would spark questions more than the actual coloring of the bruises. She even had a limp from tripping while trying to dodge Rayne's wild arrows.

Weirdly enough, no one had questions. It was weird even for her mom and older sister. They cannot stop being noisy!

Sleeping or at least lying down in her bed, was what Lily was most exciting part of the day. Her and her other classmates days were filled with classes, training, homework and some other paid after school activities, the others parents signed them up for. Lily did not think she should complain about being busy, around Vincent with his violin and math tutoring.

What Lily forgot about was, how even her dreams were affected by her being a Guardian. But what she looking at was not the forest with the pink colored sky, it was way gloomier than that.

The sky wasn't even pink. It was the normal night shade of black. The grass was not so alive or well like before. There were no more green leaves on the trees. Wind was still blowing, but more harsher and blowing past her, like it was trying to tell her to look into that direction. That was the case, since behind her, was her other three classmates.

How are they in her dream? Is she in one of their dreams? Why are they there in the first place? Lily wanted to ask the many questions she had, but her mouth couldn't even open. Rayne, wearing her dark purple button up pajamas with no glasses was waving her arms, like she was also wanting to speak.

Vincent and George were not taking the scene well too. They also had their sleep clothes on. Vincent had his usual shorts and dark blue t-shirt. His bed head really made his wavy black hair cute to Lily. George had on a loose purple lakers t-shirt and black shorts. His brown curly hair was like a rats nest though.

After taking in the scene, Lily noticed something else the four couldn't do. Their bodies weren't able to move from where they stood. When trying, it felt like their feet had been glued to the grass floor, with strong glue at that.

When Lily checking to see if the others had any success getting their feet loose, she noticed Rayne was still waving her arms around. Lily guessed she was the only one to realize and pay attention. Rayne then pointed towards a structure that Lily did not notice though.

Nearly a hundred feet from everyone, was a three story building with no windows but massive shaped squares that looked like glass belonged in them. Even with only the moonlight shining on the whole landscape, Lily was able to see how orange the metal of the whole building was. Where was the old building? And how long has it been there?

While scanning the area, Lily did notice a shadow move in further into the right corner of the building. She may have been far away from it but she could still feel fear and confused from it.

"We finally meet." A female voice called out to them on their left. That sound really got their attention from the other four not being able to speak at all.

Seeing her black framed glasses and curly haired pixie cut, Lily realized that the girl was Linda Nalamura. One of the girls from Arabella's girl group.
