The next Monday the boys had just come home from their first day as sophomores. Casey was in the living room.

"How was your first day?" Casey asked.

"Good." Drew said.

I'm thinking about auditioning for the drama club." Daniel said.

"I'm sure you'll do great if you do."

A half hour later Casey got a text. It read.

How was the boys first day? - Max

Good. - Casey

Later that night Casey went with Kenzie to a psychic. Casey didn't believe in psychics but went to support Kenzie. Kenzie's reading had just finished. Kenzie looked at Casey.

"I already paid for your reading." Kenzie said.

"Ok, let's do it." She said knowing it would amount to nothing.

The psychic flipped a few cards. "You're afraid of being alone." The psychic said."You're afraid that once your sons grow up, you'll die alone and miserable." She flipped another card. "You're repressing your passions and desires for someone." "Part of it is an age difference, the other is because you're scared."  "If you let it happen you and this person would be very happy together." "However you need to embrace it but your stubbornness may not let you." "In order to avoid being alone, you may go down a path you've traveled before." "Even though you know it's a mistake."

Casey and Kenzie were walking to the car.

"See?" Kenzie said. "Even the psychic knows you want Max."

"That lady doesn't know a thing." "She could've made educated guesses from my Facebook, Twitter, anything."

Wednesday night  Casey was backstage. The show hadn't started yet. She was video chatting with the boys:

"Nervous mom?" Daniel asked.

"Yeah."

"Don't be."  Drew said. "You're gonna do great."

Max had just won his match. He was celebrating at top of the ramp facing towards the ring. Austin attacked him from behind. It ended up in the back and into the production area. They were right in front of Casey's workstation. As was the plan, she looked horrified.

"Adam stop!" She yelled.

"Aw, am I hurting your buddy Casey?" He threw Max into the side of Casey's workstation and left.

Casey took off her headset and knelt down by Max.

"Are you ok Max?" She asked.

They went to commercial. Max was told he could get up and did.

"You did so great Casey." Max said.

"Yeah you did awesome." Austin said coming over to her.

"That was fun." She said.
