Chapter 30

Casey and Max were excited but also nervous about tomorrow. Tomorrow they were finding out the gender of the twins. They were also telling the boys that Max was the father of the twins. As well as about their engagement. They didn't want to pile it on when Casey kicked Drew out of the house. It had been two months. Casey was four months pregnant, although she looked six months. She was laying in bed talking to Max on the phone. He was at home.

"I can't wait for tomorrow." Max said.

"Me either, but I'm nervous about the boys."

"I think they already suspect we're dating." "I'm over there all the time."

"I mean that they're gonna know I cheated on Drew."

"Yeah, whatever their reaction is, we'll get through it together."

"I'm gonna get some sleep."

"Ok." "See you tomorrow." "I love you."

"I love you too."

The next morning the boys were getting ready to leave for school. As they were leaving they both kissed her stomach.

"Tell mommy to listen to your big brother."  Daniel said. "You're girls."

"Have a good day." "Max is coming over for dinner." "I love you both."

"We love you too." They both said. They left.

Casey and Max were at the doctor. She was on the exam table hooked to the machine

"Congratulations, you have beautiful twin girls." The doctor said.

"Daniel was right." Casey said looking at Max.

"Yeah he was." Max said. "I can't wait to meet them."

"Me either."

Later that afternoon the boys came home from school.

"You were right Daniel." Casey said. "The twins are girls."

"I knew."

"I owe you ten bucks." Drew Jr. said to Daniel.

A few hours later Casey, the boys and Max were having dinner.

"Boys, Max and I have something to tell you."

"Yeah you're dating, we know." Daniel said.

"See I told you they knew." Max said looking at Casey. He looked back at them. "There's more though."

"We had a DNA test done." Casey said. "Max is the father of your sisters."

"Is that why dad cheated on you?" Drew Jr. asked.

"No." "He didn't know about Max and I until after he cheated on me." "I know it was wrong to cheat on your dad." "If you're mad at me, that's fine."

"You can be mad at me too." Max said.

"I'm not mad." "Mom seems a lot happier now." Drew Jr. said.

"Yeah, with dad it felt like you were forcing it." Daniel said looking at Casey.

Max looked at Casey. "Can I tell them the rest?"

"Yes you can." Casey said.

"I asked your mom to marry me, and she said yes." "And no, not because she's pregnant." "I was planning on asking her before I knew." "I'm not trying to replace your dad at all." "I love your mom, the girls and you guys." "I just want to be part of your family."

"I wasn't expecting this yet but I'm happy for you guys." Drew Jr. said.

"Me to." Daniel said. "When is the wedding?"

"Not until after the babies are born."
