"I can tell by the look on your face you're in shock." Drew said.

"I need time to think about this Drew." "I mean, it's a lot."

"That's ok." He put the ring away and stood up. "Take all the time you need." "Can I give you a kiss?"

"Yeah." He kissed her.

"I love you."

The next day the boys called to ask if they could stay with their friends again. Casey said yes. She decided to go over to Kenzie's. She just gotten there.

"You're not going to believe this Kenzie?" Casey said. "Drew proposed to me last night."

"He what?" She said shocked.

"I know."

"What did you say?"

"I told him I need to think about it."

"Think about it?" "Are you serious?" "Casey you can't marry Drew."

"It might be ok." "The boys would love for us to get back together."

"Do you love him?"

"We can get back to that." "We know everything about each other." "We have a ton in common." "The sex was always good."

"Casey no."

"This might be my last chance Kenzie." "I don't want to be alone." "If I don't say yes I could wind up being a crazy cat lady." "He says he loves me."

"He's a lying, manipulative, bastard." "Someone loves you,, his name is Max."

"Kenzie don't start."

"He does." "You know he does Casey." "He's perfect for you."

"He's a kid Kenzie."

"Give it up already and admit that you love him."

"I don't."

That Monday Drew picked the boys up from school. It was their birthday. As they pulled up Casey was standing outside with their car. It had a big red bow on it. Both twins smiled when they saw it. They all got out of the car.

"Happy birthday." Casey said happily.

"This is our car?" Drew Jr. asked.

"It's yours." Drew Sr. said.

"It's lit." Daniel said. "Thank you."

"Yes, thank you so much." Drew Jr. said. His phone started to ring. "Hello?" "Hi." "Ok." He put it on speaker phone. "Daniel come here, it's Max." Daniel went over to Drew.

"Hi guys." Max said. "Happy birthday."

"Thanks." They both said.

"Max we got a car." Daniel said

"I know, your mom told me." "I'm sorry I can't be there today." "Can I take you guys out for a birthday dinner this weekend?" They both said yes. "Have a great day."

That Wednesday afternoon Casey and Britt were out to lunch.

"Britt, I slept with Max last week." Casey said.

"And you're just now telling me?"

"I've had a lot on my mind."

"Was it good?"

"It was incredible, but it was a mistake." "He's only the third guy I've ever slept with." "It shouldn't have happened." "Drew proposed to me."

"I don't see a ring."

"I told him I need to think about it."

"You shouldn't say yes."

"I think I'm going to."

"Casey, you can't." "Not only has he hurt you in the past, but what about Max?"

"Max and I are friends that had a one night stand." "That's it."

Later that night Casey was at her workstation. The show started in an hour. She got a text. It read.

Come to my locker room please. -Max

Casey sighed and stood up.

When Casey got to Max's locker room the door was open. She went inside.

"Hi." She said.

"Hi." "Shut the door." She did. He stood up.

"Look I enjoyed the other night, ok?" "You win, I liked it." "It was a mistake Max." "Let's just go back to normal." She turned her back to him and had her hand on the doorknob.

"Casey." He turned her around. They kissed. "It wasn't, a mistake." He said in-between kisses. "It wasn't."

"Oh Max." She moaned as he moved to her neck. Her phone rang. Max stopped. She opened the door and answered the phone. "Hello?" "Hi Drew." She walked away.
