Maha's POV

It's been 6 days since I have been discharged from the hospital. Everyone told me that I met with an accident due to which I was injured. Seriously but I don't remember anything. How did I met with an accident? How did I end up in the hospital? Who took me there? Who informed my parents? What was Azlan doing there? Why my father was with them?

"Maha aapi" My chain of thoughts got broken when Rumi called me. After that incident I am living with my family in Hyderabad.

"Hnjii boliye" I said to her while coming back in room from my balcony.

She came and sat on the bed. She gestured me to come near her. I giggled at her actions and moved to her. She placed her head on my lap and signals me to massage. "Apko pata hai mene apko kitna miss Kiya." She said to me while I am stroking her hair.

"Achaa jii...tabhi aap hame daily call karte the." I said her in teasing tone.

"Diiii... please naa I am sorry but yes me apko har 1 din me call karti thi."

"Ji ji hamne kab mana kra." I replied her and chuckled at her actions.

"Dii apki friend ka kya naam th-"

"Haya and Noor"

"Haannn Noor aapi and Haya aapi...vo kab ayengi hamare ghar apse Milne."

"Soon" I said to her. We talked about many other things and also gossips about some of our relatives. It's been long time since we both were talking and now it's time for dinner.

We both went downstairs and greeted everyone 'Assalamualaikum' to which everyone greeted us back 'walaikum assalam'. We ate dinner and also talked, laughed and teased eachother in between.

It really feels so good to have your loved once beside you. When they make you feel at home. When they shower love at you. When they never feel you alone. When they never let you cry and fulfill all you wishes even the silly one. I am truly blessed to have family like this. I am truly fortunate to have a family that envelops me in love and care, making me feel cherished every single day.

I couldn't help but feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude for my family.

My Baba, a pillar of strength, always looked at me with such pride and love. "Beta, aap mere liye sab kuch ho, meri jaan ho aap." he would often say, his eyes brimming with affection. His love for me was a constant, an unwavering force in my life. He is my strength.

My Dadu jaan, a figure of wisdom and unconditional love, always made sure I was safe and happy. "Meri chanda, kuch chahiye?" he would ask, ready to fulfill my every little wish. His immense love and care made me feel cherished beyond measure.

My chachu, with his rugged charm and that old gun he kept for protection, was my partner in all my silly escapades. "Chalo, ek aur adventure pe chalte hain," he would say, his eyes twinkling with mischief. He never let me feel alone in my adventures, always ready to indulge my whims and fancies.

Then there was my Chachi, who had stepped into the role of a mother figure seamlessly after Mom's passing. She never let me feel the void. "Koi baat nahi, main hoon na," she would reassure me, her arms always open for a comforting hug. Her motherly love was a balm to my heart, her presence a constant source of comfort. She never let me feel the absence of mother. She love me as much as she love Rumi. Indeed I am not her own daughter but she always loved me like her own daughter.

And my younger sister, Rumi, with her innocent, immature ways, brought so much joy into my life. "Didi, main bhi aapke saath chaloon?" she would ask, her eyes wide with anticipation. Her love for me was pure and simple, and I adored her for it.
