He looked beyond his Celestia,
Soaring across the turquoise skies,
His aura bright as the Sun,
Oh he was the incarnation,
Incarnation of Sun itself,
Radiating with gold,
Golden unlike any other,
"Was it Pride?",
"Was it Excellence?",
Unknown it remained. He looked beyond his Celestia,
Cries of Leto haunting,
Haunting even the halls of Olympus,
The marble reflecting agony,
The marble reflecting pride,
Pride of Olympians,
Pride now hurt,
Pride of his mother challenged,
As the Sun flared,
Flared in rage,
The Golden Wrath. He looked beyond his Celestia,
Below stood the puny yet proud Queen,
Queen of high atrocity,
Niobe shone with regal glamour,
Beauty even to challenge the nymphs,
Her emerald eyes mighty,
Mighty with pride and honour,
Mighty with challenge,
Enough to enrage Olympus itself,
As a dark tragedy unfolded,
Unfolded upon Thebes. He looked beyond his Celestia,
As he and Artemis embarked,
Destruction in their pursuit,
As the Sun continued to rage,
Protective and loyal to his kin,
Such to overwhelm and outweigh,
Outweighing his own wits,
As Thebes once glorious,
Now reduced in ruins of royal depravity,
As once proud Niobe wailed,
Wailed in agony,
As the corpses of her fourteen gemstones,
Her fourteen children lay,
Decaying,
Her pride shattered,
The judgement of Gods now delivered,
Equivocal.He looked beyond his Celestia,
The wails of a crying mother,
Profound,
Heavy as stone on his mighty heart,
The slaughter a ruby,
Ruby to his golden robe,
The Sun now covered by the husk of misty clouds,
Pitiful as he turned,
His warm hand blessing Niobe,
Blessing her eternity,
Blessing her contentment,
Blessing her relief of her endless agony,
As her once fair skin turned,
Turned into a sturdy stone at his touch,
A statue of progeny by the will of Sun,
Enlightened,
As he looked beyond his Celestia.~ Sapphirus
