He stood in the grandiose ballroom,
A figurine wrought from shadow and elegance,
His suit a testament to his meticulous nature indeed,
Charisma a cloak he carried gleefully as a heirloom cape,
A gentleman born of darkness amidst the light and shine,
Crimson eyes cold as obsidian,
Swept o'er the room observant,
Searching for the next prey for his beloved game,
A sport of destruction and death his favourite,
As his eyes stop,
His search now finished as before him stood a nymph,
Angelic lady born of bathed golden innocence,
The mask of civility veiling his darkened mind,
A cavern of rage and injustice,
Control his coined currency and power the eternal end,
As her gaze met his,
Stars colliding with the illusion of Sunlight,
Satan tricking the innocent Eve,
A silent invitation to the unknown abyss she stepped within,
Oh her little walk made his lips curl in ecstasy,
A serpent slithering into the garden,
Weaving a spell of enchantment and doom.He stood in the grandiose ballroom,
She a vision of youth and purity,
Her beautiful golden hairs a grace across her shoulders,
The seraphic dress he longed to shred with joy,
Her clacking heels casting a music to his ears,
As she was absorbed by his eyes into his very essence,
He was a mystery she longed to unravel now,
Her heart quickening with innocent joy as she found herself before him,
A melody of cursing curiosity and sinful desire,
Her steps light as a feather in wind,
Fleeting,"Will thou grant me the honour of a dance, oh fair Sire?"
"For thy presence doth captivate my eyes and soul~"She cooed,
As he smiled and held her laced hand,
Oh she was buttery against his cold razor blade,
His touch cold and intoxicating to her,
As the Puppeteer finally pulled his lovely string,"Oh Sweet maiden, I shall cherish to lead your hand~"
"Your hand through this waltz, tread you upon the very stars tonight~"His voice raspy,
As she felt a flutter within herself,
Misunderstanding it as "butterflies",
For they were the warnings sent by heavens itself,
In his mind the thrill of hunt had long ignited,
A dark delight in her unsuspecting trust,
As he whispered sweet nothings in her golden ears,
Drawing her closer to her very dominion,
Her free and innocent laughter now against him,
Against the malevolence brewing within him.He stood in the grandiose ballroom,
As their bodies moved in graceful harmony,
A dance between light and shadow,
Shadow truly to the world,
His grip tightening around her delicate waist,
Possession dripping in his lingering touch,
Yet her eyes were clouded by the man of sophistication and allure,
She saw admiration and beating heart,
He saw a conquest and vessel to store his darkness,
He spake of dreams and desires she never felt before,
A beautiful painting of monochrome dreams,
Whilst within he relished the thought of her begging,
Her heart fluttering to everything "his","Thy gaze doth pierce mine heart with a longing~"
"Longing I hath ne'er known, oh Sire~"
"What secrets dost thou keep?"As he lead her across the floor,
His lips curling into a knowing smile,
The beast within him growing frantic in each passing moment,
As he spoke,"Secrets, my love are but shadows~"
"Shadows dancing 'round life, life shan't touch of them~"He stood in the grandiose of the ballroom,
In hushed tones she shared her mind with the beast,
In hushed tones she shared her golden dreams,
In hushed tones she shared her rosy hope,
Oh sinful accord!
She dance with the devil,
A predator feigning empathy as his mind conspired,
Yet her trust grew,
A fragile flower within the grasp of burning fire,
She saw warmth in his eyes,
But never she knew was it a reflection of her own,
Reflection from the darkened void within him,
The evening waned further as he promised her a retreat,
She smiled with love and desire flashing in her eyes,
Oh those sun kissed eyes,"Thy touch is like summer's breeze, oh lovely Sire~"
"Gentle and soft, mind my heart, what art thou seek?"
"Seek in the fateful night, Sire?"As he smiled,
His crimson eyes all knowing,"Oh lady, I seek not the stars above, but the fire~"
"Fire raging within thy heart, flame to warm this cold and hollow soul~"Her eyes now moist with what she mistake,
"Love" is it?"Dost thou believe in love, noble Sire?"
"Or art thou wanderer of lonely nights and fleeting dreams?"He smiled as he felt her in his cast webs now,
"Love is a fleeting dream, oh Lady~"
"A tempest in night, yet in thy very smile~"
"Thy smile I find the rarest sanctuary~"He stood in the grandiose of the ballroom,
Behind closed doors he reincarnated,
The gentleman shedding his veneer,
Revealing the beast caged within,
He laid eyes on her with hunger,
Hunger that transcended her flesh and threatened her very essence,
She was still enraptured for she saw the man she dance along,
Not the beast in waiting,
He advanced with touch no longer gentle,
Ravaging her with possession and dominance,
She gasped with confusion as she froze,
His words now commands and his hands the chains,
Chains now shackling her,"In place, Whore~"
He claimed as he tore through her dress,
Her innocence became his plaything,
Her mind bleeding from such atrocity,
As he clawed his way through her delicate body,
Her golden walls broken with each thrust of his malice thunder,
Bruised and cut lips,
Slapped upon heated limbs of his prey,"Do not shed thy tears, oh lady~"
He assured with each merciless thrust,
"You shall relish it in a moment, oh Lady~"
Yet she cried,
Her wails a symphony to his ears,
Symphony of his longing control,
As he threw her on the ground,
Her tear stained facd now numb beyond repair,
Scarred she lay,
Each muffling scream,
Each hateful thrust,
Each aching slap across her rosy buds,
Shattered she lay as he choked her with animosity. He stood in the grandiose of the ballroom,
Yet she lay in a puddle of shame and rejection,
Tears now dried with regret,
She felt tainted as an Angel in the grasp of the Devil,
As Eve she too trusted the serpent,
As Eve she too was punished,
She was a broken doll long discarded now,"Whore~"
Words etched on her soul,
Her skin scarred to her gaze,
A constant reminder of the night she met the Devil in disguise,
Her spirit crushed under his malevolent feet,
As he smiled,
A fucking grim satisfaction,
She was now forever altered,
A testament to his beloved sadistic game of lives.~ Sapphirus
