Faded Dark. (By Sapphirus)

In the darkness of the night,
In the cold and eerie woods,
Through the calm and silence,
She stood.

She was a ray of golden light,
A shimmer of hope,
Hope in the world of enigmatic sin.

She was golden in the darkened times,
As he looked,
Looked at her,
From beyond the shadows,
Shadows of the night,
Shadows willing to cascade her light.

He was envious of her purity,
Of how,
She was an array of stars,
In the starless cold night,
Of how she was rejoiced,
While he raged.

She felt a sense of trepidation,
Trepidation as she approached the dark,
Dark and unknown,
She felt fear as her light glimmered,
Glimmered and shone through the dark,
She felt fear as her light,
Showed her his stoic face,
Face so emotionless,
Face of night and darkness itself,
She extended her warm hand,
To his cold being,
Light to darkness.
Warmth to coldness.
Love to hatred.
Day to night.
Purity to corruption.

With a flicker in his crimson eyes,
He held and pulled,
Pulled her close,
As he whispered the lucrative nothings in her ears,
As he buried the cold blade,
Silver in her gut,
The blade was painted crimson,
Crimson as his being.

The light in her blue eyes fading,
As what left of her,
Was enveloped by his being.

Darkness remained.

For the light has faded,
Only sin rejoiced,
In the darkness of the night.
