Walking down the hallway with a stack of papers, I stopped at the end of the hallway when I spotted Seonghwa standing in front of the councilor's room. I was going to call out to him but he seemed really nervous already.
He lightly hit his head on the wall. San came out of the room. He patted Seonghwa on the back as he told him something.
I couldn't tell what he said.
Seonghwa nodded and he walked into the room. I titled my head once San had spotted me. I continued to walk down the hallway.
San stopped in front of me and I stopped too.
"Hey Yeosangie! What's up?"
"Just taking these papers to class. What were you and..."
"Oh, I just came from the councilor's office."
I know. I saw. "Oh. For the college stuff right?"
He nodded. "I decided to not apply for any."
My eyes widened as I dropped all the papers. Is he stupid? Not applying for college?!
"Oh." He laughed. "I knew you would be shocked and upset."
"That isn't something to laugh at!" I started to pick up the papers. "Why wouldn't you apply?!"
"Well, I'm going to go straight into taking over my dad's company."
I looked up at him. "Oh. Makes sense I guess."
He began to help me pick up the papers. "Have you thought about going abroad for college?"
I shook my head. "I want to go to Seoul University." I smiled.
He smiled too. "Of course but have you thought about taking a semester going abroad?"
I shook my head. "But I have kind of thought about going to the top schools in America. I am mostly treating those as safe schools even if they are harder to get into. If I don't get into any of the top schools, I will just go to where ever accepts me."
"Yeah, I understand."
Once I was able to stack all the papers, I stood up. "Well I got to take these back to class." He nodded and waved to me as I started to walk.
I stopped at the councilor's office. I stared into the small window on the door. Seonghwa looked nervous for some reason. I smiled when I saw his nervous smile. So cute.
I don't know why but seeing this made me feel a bit anxious. I shook my head and started to walk back to class. Setting the papers down on the teachers desk I smiled at the teacher when he thanked me.
I sat back down at my desk.
Seonghwa walked in and quickly sat down next to me. He still looked a bit nervous. What is up with him?
"Are you ok?" I whispered. "You look nervous."
He tensed up and turned to me. He smiled but it was a weird nervous smile. "Huh?"
"I asked if you are ok?" He stared at me. "You look really nervous."
"Oh. Oh. Yeah. I'm fine." His leg was bouncing. I've never seeing him like this before.
"Are you sure?"
He nodded. "Yeah." His nervous smile turned into a genuine smile. "I just... It's some thing that I was able to work out."
I smiled. "Oh, like what?"
He took my hand. "Just something personal that I've been thinking about a lot. It's nothing important."
I nodded. "Ok. As long are you're happy, I'm happy too."
His smile slightly dropped before his smile got wider than before. He kissed the back of my hand before he let it go and we turned back to the front of the class.
I haven't seen him this happy in so long. It's kind of freaking me out.
I want to know why he is so happy but I don't want to force him to tell me. Especially since it's personal.
I sighed.
Wait... Does it have to do with him going to the councilor's office?.. but what would he need to be talking to the councilor about other than colleges? Did he want to change colleges? Want to apply to even better schools?
Well that isn't something to get nervous about though.
I really want to know.
I glanced over at him. He looked really calm now.
Once class ended, he quickly got up and left.
I was stunned. He has never left me like that before. Especially since the start of this year. I grabbed my stuff and left. Walking down the hallway. It felt weird to walk by myself.
I swiftly moved to the side and grabbed onto the back of Wooyoung's backpack when he tried to tackle me. I pulled him up and slapped him on the back of his head. "You idiot. Stop trying to kill me. Haven't you tried to kill me enough?"
He laughed. "Sorry. I tried to stop but I tripped." He rubbed the back of his head. He looked around. "This is weird. Where is Seonghwa at?"
I shrugged. "He left me in class. He literally ran out the door. So I have no idea where he is."
"That's really weird."
I just shrugged. "It's whatever."
"It's not just whatever. He didn't wait. Did you guys get into a fight?"
"No. He was fine in class."
"Did you do something that he found out about?"
"I don't know."
"Oh my god! Did he find out about the time you paid a gang to beat him up for a year?" He whispered.
I completely forgot about that. I shook my head.
"Or the time you tried to stab him in the middle of class and Jongho took away your pocket knife?"
I covered his mouth. "Dude. Shut up."
He took my hand off. "It's not my fault you decided to become a murderer at a young age."
I rolled my eyes.
He then gasped. I quickly turned to him. "Did you cheat on him and he found out?" He whispered.
I glared at him.
"So that's a no." He got closer. "No on the cheating or him not finding out?"
"I didn't cheat you idiot. I would never!" I walked off.
"If you did would you tell me?!" He yelled. He ran after me. "Seriously, if you do. Tell me. I need to know the tea. Tell me who you did it with, what did you guys do, and why did you do it."
"Woo, I can't even have sex with Seonghwa. Do you expect me to cheat on him?"
"I mean, there is emotional cheating. Cheating isn't just about sex."
I huffed. "You're so annoying."
