When the cast of Top Gun: Maverick comes to Top Gun to learn how to fly a jet, and it turns out their instructor is the real life version of Maverick.
This is based off of another story that I loved and wanted to make my own version.

It had been 5 months since Mav took them to the bar and since then they have all gotten very close. It became a tradition that every other Friday night they would go out. Sometimes they were even able to convince Tom to come with them. When the other aviators from her squadron passed though they made sure to say hello, Pirate was still an asshole but even he had made friends with some of the actors.
They had finished with their training and now they were starting to film the actual scenes.
Katerina had just been called into Admiral Kane's office. During her time at Top Gun she had formed a relationship with him, the reason it was formed was because of how many rules she broke and after the 5th time she had been called in they started to open up to each other.
She currently sat in his office, he sat across from her, behind the desk. He was not a very imposing man but if you knew what he had done in his career you would know to respect him.
"Have you read the script?" He asked her, regarding the fact that she had recently received the finished movie script. "Yes, sir." She spoke, she had read it the night before and was pleased with the changes to the original one that she had previously read.
"Good, we recently received the 5th Gen fighters that we will be using and I want you to train with it." He said as he filled through the stacks of paperwork on his desk. "Sir?" She spoke questioningly. "I have decided that you will be getting an upgrade." He looked up. "You will now regularly be flying the F-22 Raptor." She was struggling to hide the giant smile that wanted to grace her face. "And I have decided that you will be flying it in the movie as well."
