Finally. Its finally the first day of filming. Everyone had been anticipating this day for months, but nobody had more than Katerina. She had been working towards this day from the moment she was assigned. 

Miles and the cast spent the morning is briefings and meetings while Kat was outside checking the planes, making sure they were air worthy.

She would be in the air in her F-22 alongside Micky and Pirate, while they supervised the actors. The first day was scheduled for the training sequence so a lot of tricks for Tom and Miles, the second day is for the first leg of the mission on the third day is reserved for Tom's solo fly so the rest of them get a break and the final day is for the second part of the mission.

Katerina has to be in the air for all of them, she will be supervising hem the whole time. The only time she wont be supervising is when she is on camera. Because she is one of the only people on base who have trained in the F-22 she has been selected to fly it on camera.

The only thing she has been told is that she has to follow the sequence she planned. Easy enough right? Wrong, she did not plan the 'trick' that the pilot dose and she had planned to have them come up with something, as that is what she told the producers to tell their selected pilot. 

So, she is in the air after a long first day of supervising and is trying to figure out some badass trick to have mastered for her use in three days. She has Micky as her wingman, who is helping her out with comping up with it. 

"You could barrel roll up around the missile." He suggests after the last idea failed. "Nope I have to end up behind them." She responds while shaking her head. They had been in the air for at least an hour now and they were both tired. 

"Is there anything weird that that thing can do?" He asks referring to the jet she was sat in. 

Maverick takes a deep breath, while digging deep into her brain for the memory of the manual. "I can stall fast." She says as she sighs. How was that going to help her?" 

Apparently Alex has an idea because he asks her to show him. She speeds up so that she is Infront of him and turns off the engines so that she is floating in the air. "Can you spin while you do that?" He asks her, his voice full of excitement.  

"I think so." She comments, she is clearly confused, wondering what her friend is getting at. 

Once again she speeds up, flying Infront of her wingman, she pulls her stick to the left and shuts down both engines. Then she understands. With the engines off she fly's right by him while spinning to avoid the 'missile'. Its a genius move. 

She knows now, what she will do.

Katerina is walking through the hall, headed towards her bunk. Her flight suit is tied around her waist and her hair is in a messy ponytail with strands falling out of it.

 Her bag is hanging on her shoulder and her face is half asleep as she walks towards her door, her head is hanging down while she searches for her keys inside the bag. 

Her head snaps up as she turns the final corner and she sees Miles standing there on his phone. 

'Shouldn't he have left already?' She thinks as she approaches him. Just as hers had, Miles's head shot up from his phone and he quickly shoved it in his back pocket. Katerina stops int eh middle of the walkway and watches him with raised eyebrows. 

A moment later and Miles is standing Infront of her as she stares at him, still wondering what he is doing here. "Hi.' He says with a chuckle. 

She returns the laugh, with a small smile on her face. "Hi." She says as she waves her free hand.
