Chapter 1 - Seal the deal

" The tender for the government project is announced by the Govt officials on last month 8th, totally 15 companies have applied and we will announce the team which have won this now "

The officials looked after Every quotation which was submitted and they finally picked the one which was under their budget. 

They smiled knowing whom it would be as every year, the result is same. 

" This year, the tender for the construction of houses for the lower class privileged people, under the direct Chief minister scheme, goes to, KK empire Mr. Karan kundrra"

Everyone else sighed knowing they can't win him over this and except one person who was furious.  Karan quietly stood up from his seat, acting oblivious to the gossiping session around him, he walked to the officers and signed the documents. 

Arjun bijlani, Karan's bestfriend and COO of KK empire, walked to the person who was fuming in anger.

" tchtchtch, phirse haargaye aap Mr. Alex Cameron, u know what, I feel bad for you, everytime u do try to get the govt contracts but it fails, hum ek kaam Karte hai, we will not participate in next few tenders. May be you will get a chance then..so it's a deal ?" he was mocking at Alex and in turn Alex was just glaring at him.

Alex " don't fly high so much, sometimes you never knew when your wings will be cut, and Arjun , I wont snatch his victory but I will claim mine.. Wait and watch "

He walked away and Om walked to arjun with his raised eyebrows making him shrug in return. 

Karan signed the deals and took the papers from the officials, the trio return to the office.

Time skipped by,

KK empire,

Om barged inside the cabin to see Karan and arjun, discussing over then new project.  He kept the document down and they look at it. 

Om " It looks like Alex also did well in the tender, we got this tended by just 5 k margin, his quotation is also accurate "

Karan " First let me know, how did you get the copy of his quotation and y are we discussing about him now "

Om " Bhai, you got to know your rival every move. We r lucky to get picked by just this low margin, warna we would have lost it by now "

Arjun"but we didn't lose right and we will never, Alex is just another guy "

Karan " he is not... Om is right, he have some potential, I agree he is competing with us everywhere we go but he never cheats, he doesn't do this third class things. We should be aware "

Om " exactly.. That's all I wanted to say "

Both nodded their head and continued to work.

Night time, Karan reached his home by late at night and he saw his siblings waiting for him.  Checking his watch again, he walked inside to ask them why they r up so late. 

Karan " wassup kiddos, y r u guys up till now "

Sanjana walked to her brother and wrapped her hands softly around him, making him smile. He ruffled her hairs and she looked at him. 

Sanjana " dadaa, ice-cream khane chale " she asked cutely and could he ever resist his little sister. He nodded and the other two jumped in excitement. 

Karan " will u guys inform Papa and chachu or should i do that as well "

Anvi " Papa knows bhai, aap bade Papa se batayee na "

He nodded with a chuckle and she grinned.

Karan " I will come in 10 mins "

They nodded and waited for him. He fresh up quickly and changed into casuals. He walked to his father study knowing he would be there.
