Chapter 19 - Shaadi and exams

It's been 2 days since Karan and teju alliance fixed and they have been discussion about the date. Dadu and dadi wanted it to be a perfect Punjabi wedding but they also wanted to take wayangankars opinion. 

Everyone gathered around for breakfast and dadu find it the right time to discuss. 

Dadu " we need to finalize the dates for the engagement and wedding, sitesh called me to ask if we decided, we can't keep them wait. Sunny, you have any preference beta? "

Dadi " there is one date after 25 days, we can plan engagement on that day and then after 2 months "

Karan " Dadi,  we can do the wedding in 25 days "

Everyone looked shocked at him and dadu frowned.  

Dadu " isn't 25 days early sunny?  Y you want to hurry this wedding now"

Karan " I want to bring her here as soon as possible, mei nahi chahti voh uss ghar mei zyada din aur rahe "

Papa K " Is there any pblm sunny "

Karan didnt wanted to disclose " no papa, just saying.. Before she was just a friend of my sister, but now she is my would be wife and her safety and happiness is my concern. Isiliye bolraha hu "

Chachu "and she is our daughter in law too,  we are concerned as well.. So tell us what's bothering you, bcoz there is definitely something behind you rushing this wedding soon "

Chachi " Yes even I observed that everything is so suspicious about the house.."

Karan sighed " not like that chachi.. It's just, they are conservative people who doesn't want to let their children live their life and they impose their decision over them.. "

Anvi ' bhai.. Tell them everything, we never hide anything from our parents" she said keeping her hands over his and he blinked.  He shared everything that happened with teju and they were shocked, ultimately everything is happening bcoz of Karan with whom she was seen by her bua .

Dadi " Even before your love story begins, she get caught.. That's pity " she said dramatically making everyone laugh and he rolled his eyes. 

Karan " Koye love story nahi hai "

Nik " that's y you beat the shit out that Raman and he is in prison now " he said sarcastically and Karan glared at him.

Karan " I... I... Like her, that's all "

Nik " soon it will change to love beta " he spoke like dadu making him throw the spoon at him. 

Dadu " alright then, so we will fix the date after 25th for wedding and will plan engagement soon.. I m informing now itself, it will be full fat punjabi wedding from our side.. We can plan marathi wedding too if thy are willing"

Anvi ' I m sure they just want wedding now, they won't mind which culture and all "

Papa K " Princess is right, but we should ask teju opinion, she must have some plans in her mind "

Karan " I will ask her today papa "

Nik " milgaye na chance, ahem ahem"

Karan " if u don't keep your mouth shut, then I will stuff hunch of chillies in your mind, you won't be able to open for days then " he whispered in low tone and Nik immediately shut. 

Mumma k " Toh hume arrangements ki bhi plan karne hote.. "

Karan " maaa, we will hire wedding planners, no one will strain much in these days , sit and enjoy the wedding"

Anvi " right.. And we siblings are going to plan and organize everything along with the wedding planners.. Elders can take rest "

They all smiled and sanju hified with anvi and nik, Karan shook his head in disbelief and they all get back to their work.
