"Yeah you and me" Ted restated with a half smile. He leaned back over the center console. I wanted to grab him, make him stay near me.
This man was wanted for murder and I felt instant guilt, it should be me that the police are after.
"What happened at the college?" I blurted out in the silence that grew between us. I glanced over as I heard him get out of the car.I grunted in frustration and got out of the passenger side door touch the dirt with just my socks on. It felt painful as there were small peddles sticking out, lodging into my foot.
"We don't have shoes on!" I stated all flustered, while stamping feet.
I watched as Ted grabbed the duffle bag with the human head in it and propped it up over the roof of the car.
"We're gonna do this together Jeff" he said and I walked around the car to stand a couple feet away from him. He turned to me and smiled, god he why did he have to be so damn charming?
"We need to bury the head? Right?"
"You're going to do this I've done enough for you" he said flatly.
"Then why did we come all the way here?"
"Grab the duffle Jeff and we need to start a new life"I paused in thought what did he mean by "new life"?
"What does that mean?"
Instantly, catching me off guard I was pushed up against the drivers side car door. I could feel his breath against my face and feel his chest slowly rise and fall against mine.
It felt good, it gave him this close. To feel his body reacting against mine was electricity shooting throughout my skin.
"You're a criminal Jeff and so am I" he breathed out and I swear he keeps looking at my lips. "We need to do this, wash away our urges to start fresh lives"
"I- I don't know if I can" I whispered and he rolled his eyes in response, placing his hand against my cheek in a soothing way, cupping my jaw.
"We have to try! I'm done with this life style after seeing your apartment I can't live like this... we can't live like this"
We locked eyes and for a split second nerves set in. Was he going to kiss me? I panicked closing the gap between us and he sharply inhaled into my mouth on contact, kissing back. We were surrounded by just woods on either side of us with sounds of owls and critters.
I couldn't help but run my hands down his back, feeling all his ligaments and muscles flex as we swapped spit. I whimpered, feeling as his traps flexed under my hands as he wrapped his arm around my waist.
"Ted" I whispered against his lips and he shoved me harder against the car door. He grew more flustered and aggressive with each passing moment and I couldn't help but break the kiss, I was getting dizzy for air.
"Ted- I"
I stood back and watched as Ted couldn't look at me but at the duffle bag on the top of the car and grabbed it.
"Let's go get this done" he mumbled and started heading into the woods.
Feeling frozen, as we just had the most heated makeup session. I didn't know what to say.
"Come on!" He shouted and I snapped out of it, running to catch up behind him. Once I caught up, he was walking dead panning out ahead of him not even bothering to speak.
"Are you okay?" I asked because I was concerned, did I do something wrong? He kissed me.
"Yeah..Stop asking questions" he said coldly.
