Ring. Norman stirred a bit. His eyes still closed as he stirred. Ring. Who on earth was even calling him? As he peaked his eyes opened he remembered where he was. He was over at Manon's house. He fell asleep on her couch. His eyes snapped open. He fell asleep on her couch. Ring. It seemed Manon had also fallen asleep as she was rubbing her eyes and standing up. "I'll get it." Manon muttered as she looked back at him with a small smile. Norman nodded as she got up. Part of his body felt colder now that she left. A gray blush remained on his face. It was nice. "Hello?" Manon asked. "Oh mom, how are you doing?" Manon said rather flustered. Norman felt slightly panicked, her mother was calling right now? Maybe she expected her to be done with their date? "I'm doing good." Manon replied, Norman felt too scared to move. He didn't want to embarrass Manon. "What are you talking about?" Manon said, not like she was doing any good of hiding things. It was something Norman found kind of cute. Though it was not helping in the situation of her mother calling. As much as Norman was into her, he wasn't sure he wanted to meet her mother yet. "Mom, it's probably just an issue with the line. Besides, I have a friend over right now." Manon said quickly as Norman felt a sneeze coming on. Manon looked back at him as Norman moved his elbow over to his mouth. Manon got the point and rapidly began motioning towards a door, but it didn't settle into Norman's head as he let out a loud sneeze. A gasp came from the phone. Being so loud both could hear it. Manon quickly slapped a hand over the end. "Sorry." Norman quickly replied. "It's fine it was out of your control, and bless you." Manon replied, "Thank you." Norman replied before Manon brought the phone up to her ear. "No mom. Look, I will call you later. Okay I'm hanging up, bye mom." Norman could still hear some chatter as Manon placed the phone on the hook. "Sorry about that again." Norman replied. "It's not your fault. She's just been getting a bit too intrigued in my love life as of lately." Norman nodded, he understood that from Bryce. "What time is it?" Norman asked as Manon looked at the clock. "Around five." Manon replied as the two looked back at each other. "Do you want to stay for dinner?" Manon asked casually. Norman gave a bright smile. "Sure."

The next morning every employee who had walked into the break room. Norman and Marianne were talking almost non stop. To Peter it was especially unnerving. A boss he remembered killing him talking with an employee rather nicely. If anything their conversations seemed rather flirty. "Everything alright Pete?" Since Bryce has deemed it inappropriate to call him newbie, since he wasn't really new anymore. Still another nickname arose, though he found he didn't mind it too much. It's better than being called newbie. Even though he still used it from time to time. "Don't you think our boss is acting a little weird?" Peter replied Bryce raised a brow. Leaning closer to him. Peter felt his heart pound a bit but chose to ignore it. "I mean don't you think it's weird how he's talking to an employee. Like a lot?" Peter asked as Bryce signed before leaning back in his chair. Peter was confused by this action, especially with his unimpressed face. Peter looked back over there two. A bit of coffee spilled onto the counter. Marianne reached for a napkin at the same time as the boss. Both looked at each other and giggled. That was a step too far in his mind. He waited the entire time before his shift was ready. Eventually the boss left, but not before Peter caught one thing. "See you on Saturday." The boss said and Peter froze. They didn't work on Saturday's. Peter looked back to see Manon's happy smile, and that's when it hit him. It surely couldn't be, but with Bryce's reaction it could be. As Peter went to work. As he walked into the office he could hear whispers from his coworkers. Everyone agrees on one thing. Something is going on between their boss, and Marianne.
