Norman looked in the mirror. Making sure not a hair was out of place. It did feel nice to be back in his apartment after basically living in Manon's for almost two weeks. It almost felt like they had just started dating all over again. Norman wanted to make it up to her big time. He owed it to her. Though they didn't do anything too big, or private. Though he wanted a chance to just talk to her. Looking at places he thought would make for a nice date. Finally he landed on a flower store. Though it wasn't like many others, which is why he was excited to take her there. Today was a casual date. So his outfit was just a simple gray polo, white bell bottom, a gray belt, and gray shoes. Looking at himself one final time he nodded before leaving the room. Followed by his apartment. Manon and him had decided to meet each other there. The walk was a bit long, but Norman found he didn't mind. He knew Manon would likely take a taxi, or have her aunt or uncle drive her there. When he arrived he found himself looking around for her before finally finding her. She was just getting out of a car and walked forward towards him. She was wearing a bright green dress with white polka dots. A Matching crop jacket, white tights and matching shoes. She walked right up to him. "Hey." "Hey." Norman said as Manon approached. "So why did you decided here?" Manon asked as they began to walk into the store. "You'll see~." Norman said as they walked to the entrance. Norman opened the door for them. Letting Manon inside first. Following behind her as she paused nearly right in front of the door. What Norman left out was that it wasn't a traditional flower store. While the walls outside made it look like a giant greenhouse. In reality there was no roof, and further back, just barely visible were large flower fields. Manon's eyes wandered over every flower, every plant. Several people were already around looking at flowers. "You haven't told me this place existed the whole time!" Manon exclaimed with a bright smile as she slapped his arm. Norman gchuk;ed as he wiped where she slapped him. "It was kind of far out. Even then I don't come here as often as I would like." Norman hadn't been to this store since he graduated college. Without warning Manon grabbed his hand. "Then let's check it out." Norman felt his face flush as Manon dragged him around. Even though he was the one who should know his way around the store. Then again the look of pure joy on Manon's face as they wandered through aisle after aisle. Looking at beautiful flowers. All with different colors, different smells, different types. It felt like heaven. Just the two of them. Even if there were several other people around. It felt like they were the only ones. Eventually Manon's eyes turned towards the flower fields. "Wait, they have an actual field?" Norman gave her a nod as she quickly dragged him off into the field with a giant smile as the two walked over. To the field the sun shining down on her face as she moved down the paths made for people to walk through without destroying the flowers. "So may I ask why specifically you choose this place." Manon asked as Norman gave a wink. "You'll see." He said as he slowly took the lead. Moving further into the field before they came across a cherry blossom tree. Manon's eyes widened. "Is that a pink tree?" Norman couldn't help but hunch over and laugh. "I mean yeah, it's a cherry blossom tree." Norman said as the two stood in front of it . A few awkward seconds of silence passed by. It made Norman feel a little weird. He knew it wasn't really all that spectacular but he wanted to respect Manon's wishes for taking things slow again. Then he noticed Manon move a bit closer to him. "So do you want to go back and find some flowers to add to your garden?" Manon asked as Norman felt a flush appear on his face. "Yeah." He said as he and Manon turned back and walked into the store. Though he couldn't help but notice her cracking up. "What?" Norman asked as Manon just gave him a smile. "Nothing." She said with a sweet smile. Norman shrugged it off but as they kept shopping he noticed some people staring at him. He was used to it so he ignored it. In the end he bought some white lilies. "I had fun today." Manon said as they left. "Same, and uh theses are for you." Norman said as he held them out to her. Manon looked at him and then back down at the lily's. Slowly taking them from him. "I got one for you too." Norman raised a brow as Manon reached up to his hair before pulling a cherry blossom from his hair. So that's why everyone was staring at him. A flush appeared on his face as Manon as he slowly took it from her. Putting it back in his hair. "Thanks Manon." She smiled back at him. "See you at work." And with that she left.
