The final testimonies of the trial after two whole days. By now the sun was setting outside. Leaving the court lights to shine on them as Lucy walked up to the stand. "So Miss.Clover how long have you known Wilbur?" "Six years" "and for how many of those years did you know Wilbur was assaulting women?" "Five." Manon had to do a double take. He had gotten away with it for five years. The statute of limitations would have run out for some of the women here. How many other charges could be over his head? Manon didn't want to know. "Has he ever sexually assaulted you or behaved inappropriately towards you?" "No. He knew better than that." Lucy said, as she gave Wilbur a side eye. Manon looked over to see him sink in his chair. If that didn't make him look guilty Manon didn't know what did.

"How so?" Lucy looked straight ahead. "It's no secret I'm a robot. Especially when I remove my gloves. We don't have ways or organs or parts made for reproduction. So there was really no point. However I've lost count of how many times I had caught him with an unwilling woman. He learned his lesson when I first caught him. He had Mrs.Johnson under him with her skirt pulled off. He was like a deer in headlights and I dashed over. I pinned him to the ground and zip tied his hands. Mrs.Johnson escaped and called the security. She did press charges, however they didn't go through because we had no proof. Despite me barging in. Yet anytime I heard there was a woman who had been assaulted I would report it to Manuel. He and I tried to get them to talk, but nothing was working. So we began to try to catch him. Pushing for security cameras to be set up. We got a few installed on the first four floors but the security company was taking forever with their next delivery and so he started targeting the other floors." Manon looked over at Norman. Noticing how his eyes looked down. It was his company and he was the one ordering them. She squeezed his hand causing him to look at her. She gave him a small reassuring smile. He gave a small one back.

"Were there any other women Wilbur wouldn't touch outside of you?" "Elizabeth Dragon, Fran Goldsmith, and Clara Clark." "Do you know why he wouldn't touch them?" Elizabeth and Fran worked on the top floor. Which is where the higher ups work. While Clara is the receptionist downstairs. Since she has a very important role people would notice if she was gone for too long." The prosecutor nodded. "If I do say it sounds like you did more damage to Wilbur than he ever did to you. Why are you pressing physical assault charges?" "On the same day as Marianne's assault Wilbur pulled his pocket knife out and slashed the right side of my face. It cut through the rubber mask and some of my wires. Knocking my offline for a couple of moments. When I came back online I heard Marianne struggling to fight him off and interjected." The prosecutor nodded before sitting back down. While the defense stood up. "Miss.Clover with all respect how do we know you are not a cyborg, and are in fact a fully functional robot." The prosecution stood up.

"Members of the jury if I may point to evidence twenty A where you will find documentation that Lucy is a robot. Including her birth certificate and trips to her mechanics. Including having wires replaced after they were cut." The prosecution said as he passed out papers showing several papers to the jury and the judge looked at them before the defense sat down. "All charges have been heard. Now we will hear from Mr.Denis" Wilbur stood up and walked over to the witness stand. The tension in the room was undeniable. As everyone was forced to come face to face with him. Manon felt herself shake a little as Norman squeezed her hand. Manon scooted a little closer to him. Now terrified of what he was to say. The defense stood up as they were now playing the plaintiff."Mr.Dennis, how long have you worked for Stryker Financial institution?" "Six years." "And during your six years have you ever assaulted any of the women?" Wilbur shook his head.

"No, I never touched a woman. All of them just hated me. I worked so hard everyday to keep the building clean. Even harder than Lucy, and all of the staff like to abuse me." "WHAT!?" Everyone turned to see MrEthetians standing up and the security guards blocked him from going any further. "You know damn well you left early several nights leaving things unclean!" Judge Tompson slammed his gavel down. "ORDER!" He shouted as MrEthetians became quiet while trying to climb over the security officers. "Sir, you are a witness for later. You can give your testimony when it is your turn. But if you disrupt my court again I will throw you out, is that made clear?!" MrEthetians let out a sigh.

"Yes, your honor." He said as Mr.Ethetians muttered as he turned back while one returned to their previous place, and the other stayed by the gates. Though everyone noticed how shaken up Wilbur was. The terror on his face was undeniable but it quickly faded. Manon hoped the jury would see through his lies. He couldn't get away with it. Not this time. Not after all of them had come forward. They would win this. His lawsuit was surely going to fail. Manon knew it. She didn't pay attention to the rest of the shit that came out of his mouth. By the time court was adjourned she was exhausted, but terrified for what the next day would bring.
