When Manon walked into the apartment she was surprised to see the lights were on. It was late, and while it was a weekend surely Norman was asleep. She wasn't entirely wrong as when she walked into the apartment Norman was asleep on her couch. He had changed into his pajamas, but he appeared to have been trying to stay awake. Manon gave a small smile as she walked over to him. Crouching down so she was face to face with him before poking his cheek. Norman's eyes fluttered open as he looked at her before letting out a loud yawn before looking back at her. "Hey." He said looking back at her with a sleepy smile. "You fell asleep on the couch." Manon said with a brow raised. "I wanted to wait for you to get back." Norman said quietly, Manon felt a warm blush spread across her face before giving Norman a quick kiss to his lips. "You didn't have to." Manon said as she cupped his cheek. "But I wanted to." He murmured as he leaned onto it. "How was game night?" He asked. "It was fun." She said as Norman nodded, a pleased expression on his face. "I'm glad." He said as Manon nodded. It was about time for the two to get ready for bed. Norman finally moved over to the bed while Manon changed into her pajamas before snuggling up in bed next to Norman. Letting him wrap his arms around her. Manon went ahead and snuggled against his chest. After what was the best night of her life. Nothing couldn't possibly go wrong.

Almost a week and a half passed. Things had been going well. Days had passed. While Manon still had some issues, but other than that things were peaceful. Though she had noticed a few odd things going on. People were giggling, snickering, and whispering to each other, yet nobody would really say anything directly to her about what was so funny. Manon paid no mind. The office was probably happier now that Wilbur was long gone. That was until one day after break, Norman didn't come by to talk to her, or get his usual second coffee. It struck her as odd. Maybe he was just finishing up different stuff at work. But after thirty minutes concern began to creep in. She went ahead and brewed him a fresh cup, grabbing a snickerdoodle cookie before walking over to the elevator. When she made it to the top she noticed the receptionist Mrs. Daniel's sipping coffee. She gave her a small nod as Manon walked to Norman's office. Knocking gently before an answer came from the other side. "Come in." His voice sounded distorted, and when she entered the office she could see why. Norman's desk was messy as hell.

The lights were flickering and he looked rather distraught. His eyes are blinding white. Not even moving to her. Just focusing on his computer until Manon cleared her voice. Almost immediately the lights stopped flickering as his eyes darkened. "Manon! What are you doing up here?" He asked with a false smile as Manon walked over to his desk and placed the coffee down. "I figured you wanted your second coffee." She said as Norman looked at her and then at his computer. "Jesus Christ I didn't realize how much time had passed." He said as he brought a hand up to his forehead. "Are you alright? You look horrible." Norman sighed as he picked the coffee up and drank a sip. "I don't know if you want to know." He muttered not making eye contact with him. Manon crouched down. Leaning against the arm rest on his chair. "Norman, if it's bothering you maybe I can help." Norman shook his head. "It doesn't involve you that much." Manon raised a brow. "What do you mean by that?" Norman went silent. Manon grabbed his chin and forced his view over to her. "Norman Stryker." She said in a harsh tone. Norman's face shifted immediately before he let out a reluctant sigh. "Wilbur is suing the company." Manon practically froze.

"What?" She murmured. This had to be a joke, but Norman's face all but said it. "For what? Why?" Manon asked. "Because his pay was docked, and some shit about physical damage." Manon looked away. "Surely the suit won't go through." Norman shook his head. "His case is already rather strong. I have doubts it won't slip through any cracks." Manon looked down. This was ridiculous. If anyone deserved to be sued, it was him. "I was thinking of just settling it by paying the amount just to not create a big fuss." Norman said as he placed his coffee down on the table. The shame on his face was not hidden at all, and Manon would not stand for it. There had to be a fighting chance somehow. There was a way. One she was scared of. Then again, how many women were there. Every woman faced some sort of sexual abuse from him. If maybe she stood, so would they. "I want to press charges." She said as Norman looked over at her. His face was shocked. "I don't want him to get his way. If it could help in any way I want to do it." Norman's face softened as he gave her an affirmative nod. "If you can. Try to get other women to press charges. The more the better." Manon nodded before leaning over and giving him a kiss on the lips. Norman cupped a hand over her cheek before the two parted. "But I'm not leaving until you eat." She said before tossing the cookie over at him. Norman caught it but looked at her confused and surprised. "How?" "You've been so caught up in work I can't trust that you have eaten." Norman sighed as he opened the cookie's wrapper. "Very well love." He replied as Manon gave a victorious smile.
