Chapter 14

Monday---

The weekend went great. I hung out with Devon and Rylie and Kate. Devon and I went to the mall and walked around. Rylie, Kate and I went to the beach.

Brandon fixed things with Bella and Kyle has big news he plans on telling the family tonight.

"And that ends our lesson today," Mrs. Fitch, my third hour teacher, said.

Tyler and I walked out of the room. "See ya after gym Tyler."

"Have fun swimming Annie," he taunted.

I hate swimming. Kate and I got in the pool and started our laps. After swimming we get twenty minutes to change, so we luckily don't have to swim long.

I met Tyler outside of the locker room and we walked to study hall. "Tyler, Annie, Here you go," Mr. Mullins handed us our progress sheets.

"I'm hungry, I think I could eat a horse," I said.

"You ate like two hours ago."

"Not really. Devon kept making me laugh so I had the hiccups."

"Whatever." We drove to the diner and got some food.

"I don't have practice today so we can go home. What do you think Kyles big news is?"

"I don't know, maybe he got an art scholarship."

"Yeah, maybe." We drove home listening to music. "I love this song!" I turned the radio up. A Team by Ed Sheeran was on.

"Really?" Tyler smiled.

I smiled back and started singing, "In a pipe she flies to the mother land, sells love to another man."

"Why do you listen to this?"

"I love Ed. He songs are about real things. They're meaningful."

"Why don't you listen to anything good?"

"Like what? Drowning pool? Likin park?" I asked refering to some bands he likes.

"Yeah," He tuned the channel and Drowning pools Let the Bodies hit the Floor was on.

I started screwing around by dancing and screaming with the music. Tyler was laughing at me, so I hit his arm, a little too hard. The car squeaked and we ended up hitting a tree.

"Are you okay Tyler?"

"Yeah, you?"

"I'm good." We climbed out of the car. "Sorry about your car."

"It's okay. I'll get it fixed. You'll have to drive us to and from school till it's back though."

"Awesome. I'm really sorry I broke you're car."

"Don't worry about it." He called a tow truck and Alex.

The tow truck and Alex arrived at the same time. "Just fix it, whatever price. Call me when its done," Tyler handed him his number.

"You crashed your car?" Alex said.

"It was my fault," I said.

"No it wasn't," Tyler defended me.

"I was dancing and yelling and then I hit him. My fault."

"Okay, maybe it was her fault but it's okay." Tyler said. We drove back to the house and I went to get my homework started. Halfway through my homework Aaron came to see me about Tylers car. I told him what happened and he started laughing. He left the room with tears of joy rolling down his cheeks.

After I was done I went downstairs to see when dinner was.

"Annie, I feel like I haven't seen you in forever," Elle said.

"Same here. When's dinner?" "Hungry?"

"Starved."

She laughed, "I was just gonna call you all down." She called everyone down and we sat at the table.

"So Kyle, what's the big news?" I asked.

"After dinner I'll tell you all." We all finished dinner about an hour later. Between talking and laughing and just hanging out we had fun.

"Alright Kyle, you've kept us all waiting and Annie is dieing from not knowing. What's the news," Aaron said.

"C'mon, into the living room." We all walked in and Kyle let Alexis in.

"Hey guys," Alexis said.

"Okay, the big news is-" Kyle started.

"We're getting married," Alexis finished.

We were all quiet for a minute. "EEEEPP!!!" I squeeled, "We'll be like sisters, kinda. Well I guess not really but we can pretend!"

She smiled and everyone laughed. Elle spoke next, "Welcome to the family."

Mary brought out a cake and we all celebrated. "I'm happy for you Ky," I told him.

"Thanks Ann. I'm happy too." We partyed till the wee hours, (more like till nine.)then we were off to bed. School in the morning. I got in bed and read a book. It wasn't long before I drifted off to sleep.
