Chapter 13

Friday---

I've got a date with Devon in a bit!! I'm excited. We started hanging out during school and got to know each other a little.

On Monday I talked to Bella for Brandon. That didn't end well.

FLASHBACK!

"Bella!" I yelled down the hallway. She walked away so I ran after her. "Hey, what's wrong?"

"What do you want Annie?"

"Brandon told me you broke up with him."

"Did he tell you why?"

"Not really. He said it was for no reason."

"That ass. It wasn't for no reason. I saw him kiss Brittany."

"No!"

"yeah, so I broke up with him."

"That jackass."

"I know. I've gotta go though. Don't want to miss lunch."

He lied to me? after I told him I'd help him.

I walked into the lunchroom and tapped his shoulder, "Annie," he smiled.

I slapped him across the face, little dramatic I know, "Talked to Bella." The whole cafeteria went silent, and looked at us. "You cheated," I whispered, "she saw it. you lied to me. you're a lieing jackass." I walked out of the cafeteria.

End of FLASHBACK!!

Yeah, still haven't spoken to Brandon. I don't think hes got the guts to speak to me either. Whatever.

Soccer tryouts went excellent. I made Varsity. I was so excited.

'I'm here.' Devon texted. We are just gonna catch a movie and get some ice cream. I dressed in jean shorts, and a dark blue tank top with a white cardigan. I slipped on my gold sandals and went to go outside.

"Annie!" Tyler yelled, "wanna hang out?"

"Nope I've got a date."

"With who?"

"Devon."

"No."

"And why not?"

"He's a dick."

"so are you, and besides you can't stop me," I took off running for the car, Tyler hot on my tracks. "EFF OFF," I yelled out the window.

"Everything good?"

"Course. Tyler is just trying to stop me from hanging with you."

"Oh." We took off for the movie theater. We went to see 'The Call' it was a sad movie. Afterwards we went to the ice cream shop and talked. We left my house at eight and I didn't get home until almost 11:30.

When I got home I found Brandon in my room. "Can I help you?"

"I'm sorry," he mumbled.

"what?"

"I said I'm sorry," he said clearer.

"Well thanks. You gonna tell me what really happened?"

"I was at the park with Cullen, waiting for Bella, and Brittany came and sat next to me. We started talking while her brother and Cullen played. Then she leaned in and kissed me, took me totally by suprise."

"What'd you do next?"

"I pushed her away but I guess Bella had already saw because she sent me a 'we're over' text. I planned to tell her when she got there but I didn't have a chance."

I looked at him. "I really am sorry Annie."

"I'm not the one you apologize to."

"I know. I just wanted to say thanks for caring." He left after that and I got right into bed. I had practice earlier today and school and I was just beat tired. I plugged headphones in turned One Direction on. I fell asleep listening to They Don't Know About Us.
