I watched as Ryan and Sadie danced downstairs. I stood by Summer, Ben and Seth. We'd all gone to the Bait Shop to hang out.
"So you really think they're into each other that much?" Seth asked me, glancing at Sadie and Ryan.
"Do you even have to ask? I mean, look at them." I told him.
"But Ryan said they were taking things slow." Seth stated. "And I doubt Ryan would lie." Ben added.
"Yeah but body language doesn't lie. And their bodies say they're into each other." Summer chimed, making me nod. Ryan and Sadie walked towards us then.
"Act like you know nothing." Summer told Ben quickly.
"I don't."
"Hey, so I think we're gonna head out." Ryan stated.
"Alright, we'll go with you." Seth offered.
"No, it's fine you guys stay here."
"I'll get him home safe." Sadie told us with a grin. Ryan laughed as the two of them walked away.
"Alright, so they're totally into each other." Seth told me and I nodded.
"You know what, I'm actually happy for them."
"Me too, actually." Summer told us.
"And you two don't feel weird about Marissa? Cause even I'd feel a little weird about Marissa if I were you two." Ben asked Summer and I, who shared a look.
"Well, we'd feel weird about Marissa if we saw Marissa." I told him.
"But I thought Marissa was staying at your house since your parents are hooking up on the high seas." Ben asked and Summer made a face.
Summer's dad and Julie Cooper had went on a cruise together, but Marissa hadn't been staying with Summer.
"She's been sleeping at her trailer. I guess this breakup has hit her hard. She told Summer and I like a week ago that she needs time to process her feelings and heal in solitude." I told Ben and Summer nodded.
"Or party with two hundred teenagers." Seth stated, looking shocked as he looked down into the crowd. I followed his gaze and was shocked to see Marissa handing Volchok a beer, then kissing him intensely.
"Oh my God. Ew!" Summer exclaimed.
"So if the body doesn't lie.." Seth started and I smacked him on the arm.
"Oh my God."

I stood on Marissa's porch with Summer as she banged on the front door.
"Coop! It's me, Sum!"
"And Ally!" I called.
"Yeah, you know your best friends, the ones you tell everything to!"
Summer continued to bang on the door. "Coop!"
"I'm coming, Sum! Ally!" Marissa called and Summer and I shared a look.
Marissa came to the door then, wearing a tee shirt that I unfortunately knew was Volchok's from the few times I'd hung out with him.
"Hey."
"Hey, Coop. Looking good, it's very Kate Moss, pre Vanity Fair cover. What you doing?" Summer asked, poking her head inside.
"Uhh, you know nothing." Marissa lied.
The two of us walked in.
"Did you have a good time last night?" I asked her.
"Yeah."
