I sighed as Seth, Sandy and I walked into the kitchen. We'd just been released by the police.
"Ally, thank God. Are you okay?" Ryan asked, walking up to me and looking me over.
"I'm fine, Ry. It was an accident and the police know that."
"She's right. Her and Seth have been cleared of any charges." Sandy told Ryan and Kirsten.
"Thank God. I would have hated for this to impact graduation." Kirsten stated.
"Yeah, we definitely didn't need one more thing to stress about." I joked.
"I'm glad you two are okay. But all three of you need to get some sleep. Graduation is tomorrow, after all." Kirsten told us with a smile.

When I woke up on the day of graduation, I couldn't believe that it was actually happening. Ryan and I were graduating with great grades form a private school. I never would have guessed.
I walked downstairs and stopped as I saw my mother.
"Mom!"
"Ally!"
I didn't know what came over me, but I ran into her arms. I hugged her tightly then stepped back.
"Mom." Ryan stated as he walked in. He walked over and hugged her as well, making me smile.
"My graduates."

I walked into the school, heading to help Summer, Marissa and Taylor set up for graduation.
"Hey, Ally! I actually need to talk to you and Sum, if you'll come with me." Marissa called.
I nodded and followed her to where her and Summer were sitting. I sat down, smiling at Summer.
"What's going on?" I asked her.
"Well, earlier my mom brought a gift from my Dad. And he sent a letter."
"How is he?" Summer asked her.
"Really good, actually. He's not getting beat up by anyone right now, and he's not in charge of anyone's money so.."
"That's good." I stated.
"He's actually sailing, really, really nice boats for rich people."
"Sounds like fun." Summer told her with a smile.
"I know, that's what I thought."
"So you want to rent a yacht or something for after graduation?" Summer asked her excitedly.
"More like work on one. See my dad is captain of this yacht that's sailing to the Greek Islands, and he says they need extra crew members. So he asked me if I wanted to go."
"But you don't know how to sail a boat." Summer stated.
"This would be more like, you know, peeling potatoes and washing dishes. And it's only for a year." Marissa told us.
"And you don't want to go to Berkeley?" I asked her and she frowned.
"I don't think I'm meant for college. Not now, anyway. You guys are all leaving and I'm gonna be stuck here alone. I need a new life. I need a change."
"And it would definitely be a change." Summer stated.
"Then it's kind of the perfect graduation present. And you know, this way, I can hang out with my dad. He seems to have turned it around."
"When would you leave?" I asked. I was happy for Marissa, although I was sad to be apart from her and Summer so soon.
"Well, that's the only thing. The boat is supposed to leave Hawaii middle of the week, so I'd have to fly out tomorrow night. My dad also kind of included the plane ticket."
