"How easy it was to fall in love with those eyes."

"So you kissed, kissed?" Reina asked me as she sipped on her drink and I nodded, slurping my own iced coffee

"So you kissed, kissed?" Reina asked me as she sipped on her drink and I nodded, slurping my own iced coffee.

"Yes." I flushed as her grin grew wider and her grey eyes looked intently at me from behind her shades, her blonde hair framing her face as she shares a secret glance with Anthony who taps his fingers on the table.

"Why am I here again?" He asks as he sighs and puts his sunglasses on the table and Reina grins.

"Because you love me." She tells him and he grins subtly, shaking his head as he pecks her temple and mumbles something to her with a smile, making her giggle.

"He's into you, that much is clear." Lola states from beside me as she leans back in her chair, her manicured nails fixing her slicked back low bun before fixing the glasses on the top of her head.

"And when was the last time you spoke to him?" Reina continues as I chew nervously on my lip.

"Two days ago, the same day." I say curtly and see her thoughtful nod.

Nikki sat next to me, her hair pulled into a long French braid with some flowers inside it.

She wore a white top with cropped jacket on top which has her traditional truck art designs made on it with golden buttons that shimmered every time she moved as she crossed one leg over the other, her legs covered with a matching white flary skirt that reaches well below her knees.

Sam sits next to Lola wearing a cropped yellow top with denim shorts, her brown hair slightly wavy as she glares at her phone and types something furiously.

"He clearly more than likes you." Nikki adds as she sips on her tea as I swirl my straw in my cold coffee.

"He's invited me for dinner, tonight." I tell them and Sam finally looks up from whatever was bothering her, a grimace set permanently on her face.

"Wear something sexy." She tells me before typing again and I frown.

"Is everything alright?" I ask her and she looks up briefly, smiling, but it doesn't quite reach her eyes.

"Yes, it's just my brother." She says and I nod in understanding when her phone rings and she excuses herself to pick up the call.

"You still have to draw up a contract for me." I remind Anthony who stops midway eating a sandwich and nods once.

"Of course. Just give me a date and time and we'll coordinate." He tells me and I nod as the cool breeze ruffles up my hair a bit and provides relief against the warmer temperature of the day.

"Is it warmer today, or is it just me?" Sam asks as she walks back to us and takes her seat.

"It's definitely warmer." Nikki agrees as Lola turns to me.
