The priest went on and on about sins, what to do, what not to do and I found Lola dozing off on Sam's shoulder.
Nikki scrolled through her phone, occasionally looking around while Reina made silly faces at what seemed to be a five or six year old little blonde boy who giggled at her.
Looking around at the people sitting down and listening intently, some with bored expressions while some just zoned out into their own worlds and some who actually listened, I noticed how well dressed everyone was.
And why were they all so beautiful?
I felt like I didn't fit in this place where all I could see were models. In a corner, though, I caught Isaac's eye and waved to him, happy that I knew someone other than the girls here.
He looked so different now, dressed in a formal black suit, an earpiece in his ear, like the perfect bodyguard.
His face seemed emotionless, cold. But he still managed to crack a smile for me and winked, which didn't miss the attention of a certain person sitting in the front row who slightly cocked his head to the side.
He beckoned Isaac closer with two of his fingers and Isaac was immediately by his side in a flash, bending low so the man could speak in his ear.
Maybe that's his boss.
I saw Isaac nod and gulp visibly, his jaw clenching in the slightest before he regained composure, looking briefly towards me and say something back to the man before going back to his place.
My eyes went back to the impeccably dressed man. I could see his broad shoulders from the back, donned in a navy blue suit and the white collar of his shirt that peeked through the back.
His hair was jet black, like a raven, slicked back and so shiny. I wonder what shampoo he uses, his hair seems soft and silky from this distance.
I'm such a weirdo.
As if feeling my gaze on him, the man turned his head slightly, only so I could see half his face but even that was enough to take my breath away.
I could feel my heart race in my chest at the sight of him, his sharp as knives jawline, light stubble and pink lips, that much I could make out from the distance between us and his dark eyes, whose colour I couldn't make out to the one streak of grey hair between the black.
Wait, grey?
But before I could start drooling and embarrass myself any further, I looked at the dark blonde haired woman sitting next to him who looked back as well that moment.
Her green eyes directly met mine and she gave me a warm, breath-taking smile that seemed to make me relax into my seat before she turned back to the front.
