Colby's POV

It's been a week since I officially moved to Richview. We finished moving and decorating the house a few days ago. Everyone came over yesterday to celebrate. It was suppose to be a little house warming get together, but I quickly learned how things with the Vanderbilt-Kanes are. We practically had all of Noah's bloodline at our house.

It was stressful the first hour because I wanted everything to be perfect and for everyone to have fun. After Noah helped me get out of my own head and relax I enjoyed my time. I got to speak more with Noah's family. I'm building up my relationship with them all. There are just so many of them that it's going to take me some time.

They all have been very welcoming and kind. They treat me as though they have known me for years. It makes missing my family not be so bad.

This morning me and Noah spent the day cleaning up. I had a few calls after that and she had to go into the office. When I first moved in Noah surprised me by setting up one of our guest rooms as a home office for me to work out of.

Although most of the afternoon we did not get to see each other we were able to sit down and have dinner together. Being able to be with each other for a meal is something I took for granted. It is a simple thing that you don't appreciate as much until you are living without it.

I will always love New York and my hometown, but the sunsets here are incomparable. They have been one of my favorite things since I arrived. I have stood almost every night outside on our bedroom balcony watching the sunset. The vibrate colors blend together to create perfection.

"Almost as beautiful as you" Noah whispers in my ear as she wraps her arms around my stomach from behind. Her body pressed up against mine. Her warmth immediately made my body melt into her arms. I smile at the feel of her face close to mine.

Slightly turning my head back to kiss her. I lean myself fully onto her. My head is laying on her shoulder as we both look in front of us at the sunset.

"I will never get tired of this view" I say.

Our home is slightly on a hill which allows for us to have an undisturbed view of the gorgeous nature that surrounds us.

"Me neither" she kisses my cheek.

I laugh lightly, "I meant the sunset babe"

"I won't get tired of that either," she smiles. I can feel my cheeks warm up a bit.

We continue to watch as the last bit of sun is fading away. The sky is still filled in orange and blue.

"I have a surprise for you" Noah says, "Well two" I turn my eyes up to her.

She pulls something out of her pocket. I look down to see a black suede box. Her arms continue to stay wrapped around me. Noah opens the box with both her hands revealing the most beautiful ring I have seen. It is a cushion cut ring with diamonds along the band and a aquamarine stone in the center.

"Noah, this is beautiful" I tell her in amazement. I don't know if it is because she is the one giving it to me and it is a wedding ring, but I have never been given anything more magnificent.

"You like it?" she asks.

"I love it!" I say excited. She laughs before taking it out of the box. She pulls the ring that she first gave me off and places the new one on.

"I designed it myself. Well my mom helped a little. I wanted you to have the perfect ring" she says while looking at my hand with a big smile. I turn around in her arms with an equally big smile.

"I love you darling" I lean up for a kiss but stop when Noah pulls back.

"Darling?" she asks smiling but also with a questioning facial expression.
