Noah's POV

*four years later*

"Baby calm down"

"Calm down! You want me to calm down!"

"Umm...yeah, maybe just a little?"

"Noah get out!"

"But-"

"Listen to her Noah" Hunter pulls me out of the room.

"What did I do?" I ask my cousin. I don't understand why she's mad at me.

"Told her to calm down at the wrong time" Hunter replies.

"I was just trying to help" I say with some sadness. I don't want her to be upset.

"This is all wrong!" Colby comes out of the room furious.

"Yeah um I'm just going to go get us some food" Ava says, pulling Hunter with her.

"Wait, we just had lunch" I reply.

"What? Sorry I can't hear what you said" Ava says back. Before I can say anything her and Hunter are out of the door.

Ava and Julia are currently in town because of our wedding. After finally picking a date and months of planning we were having our wedding. We've been engaged for close to five years already. We wanted to wait until we both had settled into our careers and had our plans.

We get married in two days and Colby has been very reactive lately. I know that weddings are stressful but I thought that we had gotten past the stressful part. Everything was already planned and set. We just have to get ready and show up. Each day we get closer to the wedding it seems like Colby gets upset or sad over something that is wrong. I don't understand why she is having these responses. It makes me worry that she may not want to get married anymore.

"I have to go call the stylist again" Colby heads upstairs.

"What happened?" I ask Julia.

"She said that her dress is not like she wanted it"

"But she tried it on yesterday and said it was perfect. I didn't get to see it because she said I wasn't allowed to until the wedding but she said that she loved it" I reply.

"I don't know what's up with her lately. Me and Ava have been trying to help but a lot of things are triggering her for some reason" Julia says.

"I should go talk to her"

"Okay but be careful. She's kind of scary right now" Julia says, making me laugh.

I walk upstairs to our bedroom. Opening the door to see Colby pacing back and forth on her phone.

"Princess are you okay?" I ask hesitantly.

"Do I look okay?!" she shouts.

"Sorry I was just worried"

Colby stops pacing and takes a deep breath, "No, I'm sorry baby. I shouldn't have shouted at you"

I walk over to her. Taking her hands in mine, "Colby if the wedding is making you stressed or if this isn't what you want anymore then we don't have to have it" I didn't want to tell her that because I am scared to hear her say she doesn't want this anymore but I had to say it.

"What? No" she shakes her head, "Noah I want to marry you. I want to have this wedding" she reassures.

"I don't know why I keep having all these mood swings. I'm sorry that I made you think that I don't want this" she cups my face, rubbing her thumbs against my jawline. I love when she does that. It always makes me feel better.
