Aurora stood in the hall fidgeting with her uniform. Lina rolled her eyes at her, arms crossed, as Nara watched, bemused. Eric and Zyran were still in the office with the principal. They were lucky enough that they needed two teachers, without Aurora's use of compulsion.

"Is this skirt supposed to be this short?" She asked, looking at Nara. The three were all dressed in blue plaid skirts, a white blouse, a navy blue blazer, with white socks and black shoes. Lina had been forced to change out of her converse, due to the school code, and Nara and Aurora had both been forced out of their boots, into simple black loafers.

"Stop fussing with your skirt." Lina sighed, slapping her hand away.

"It feels weird." She mumbled.

"Aww, come on, Lina. Let her fuss." Nara grinned.

"It's annoying." She scowled.

"Everything she does is annoying to you." She rolled her eyes.

"This skirt is far too short." Aurora said, frowning.

Just then, Zyran and Eric emerged from the office. "Okay, thank you." Zyran called over his shoulder as Lina tsked, slapping Aurora's hand away. The door clicked shut behind them.

"Looks like you guys get me as a teacher first." Eric grinned.

"You're lucky they didn't force you to take a drug test." Lina retorted. Zyran rolled his eyes.

Eric's eyes passed over them. "Cute uniforms."

"Shut up." Lina scowled.

Zyran cleared his throat. "School starts in an hour, so we better find a place to hide our stuff and get to class."

"I can't wait till we can actually sleep comfortably." Nara sighed as they made their way down the hall. She jumped toward Aurora, wrapping an arm around her neck. "Hey, do you think she's rich?"

"I'd assume so." Aurora told.

Few people lingered in the hall, whispering and staring at them. Nara grinned, basking in their attention. She spun around, winking at the passing girls. Zyran rolled his eyes, grabbing Nara by the arm and forcing her to turn back around.

She fake-pouted. "Geez, you're like my dad."

"Good. You need one." Lina retorted.

"Are you calling me fatherless?"

"You said it."

"Like you have any room to talk."

"Careful, Nara," Lina smirked before placing a hand over the corner of her mouth and loudly whispering, "Your daddy issues are showing."

Eric snorted while Zyran rolled his eyes, Aurora watching their interaction with amusement twinkling in her eyes. Nara went to quip back, but a figure turned the corner.

"Lina."

They all stopped. Lina's face dropped, her body going rigid. A woman stood in front of them, a pleased smile on her face. Her brown hair fell in waves, landing against the navy blue long-sleeve blouse she wore. She wore a black pencil skirt and black stilettos with red bottoms. Professional but still school colors.

Nara's eyes roamed the woman's body as the others turned to Lina, whose color had drained from her face. Aurora's brows furrowed at the sight.

"Lina, you know her?" Zyran asked, glancing between the two of them.

"Uhm, yeah." She said, albeit hesitantly. "She's an old...friend of mine." She took a slow step forward. "Guys, this is...Victoria."

"Please, call me Tori." She smiled.
