"How is that possible? She's the one who knows everything. She's the one who told us how to not get caught under the spell." Eric stated, holding a hand out to her.

"Except you forget one simple fact." Lina turned to him. "She was alone. She was susceptible to fall under the spell much easily because she had no one to remind her. And once she forgot," She sighed, looking back at Aurora as she sipped on her drink. "She started to break the rules."

"We don't have time for this." Zyran sighed, grabbing Aurora and hauling her over his shoulder. Her glass fell to the ground and shattered as she yelped.

"You certainly have a knack for throwing her over your shoulder, don't you, brother?" Eric teased.

"Not the time, Eric." Zyran grumbled.

"Right." He mumbled.

They took off, just as a group of people were shouting. Nara pointed to a door. "There!" She yelled. They ran for it, bursting through it and taking the stairs up to the second floor. The hallway was desolate and empty, compared to downstairs.

Zyran set Aurora down. "We should be fine for now."

He spoke too soon.

The door on either side of them burst open, men and women pouring out. They were all different, yet the same. They had worked for only one man; Van Helsing. They had only one goal; bring Aurora to Van Helsing.

"Guuuys." Nara drawed out, staring at the large group of people waiting at each end. "Really wishing Aurora's magic was here."

"Magic can't solve everything, Nara!" Lina voiced.

"We didn't have enough training for this!"

"Well, it's going to have to be enough!" She snapped.

"Guys!" Eric yelled as the groups began to close in on them.

"Did you guys bring more friends?" Aurora asked, almost innocently.

"Protect Aurora." Zyran demanded. "She saved us, now it's our turn to return the favor."

Lina scowled. "Protect the princess. Yes, we got it."

They attacked. Lina was fluent in her attacks, but Nara was unsure. However, she did not hesitate. Zyran was fighting off men left and right while Eric stared unsure. He couldn't fight, and if he tried, he'd end up dead. Aurora stood in the middle unbeknownst to it all.

She had no worry. No fear.

Lina's magic attacked easily and swiftly, knocking men down faster than they could land a hit. One man broke through Zyran, swinging at Eric. Easily, he dodged. But then he was pinned against the wall. He grunted as the man's fist landed against his face again and again. When the man was done, Eric slid to the floor and the man was rushing toward Aurora.

Eric slammed a hand on the floor, his eyes growing hollow. Black wispy hands formed out of the ground and Eric watched as they pulled him down, leaving nothing behind.

His eyes returned to normal and he coughed, falling against the floor. "Ah, fuck." He whispered, spitting out blood. He was sure to have at least a black eye.

Nara was humming again, her eyes changing from a deep blue to the lightest, her pupils slit once again. Nara was beginning to gain control, entrapping only a select few. She raised her hands as she hummed a hauntingly beautiful tune, their guns raising to their heads. They pulled the triggers.

Nara watched as their bodies fell, then turned to Zyran. He was still fighting off men. Nara ran to him, helping him. Multiple men tried slipping by, tried to grab Aurora and take off.
