HELLO!!! it's cami sorry it's been a while but i just read kodi's last rant (btw im sorry babe parents suck and youARE SO THE CUTEST LIL BABYGRL EVER AND I LOVE U TONS) and i thought about this thmblr post i had saved on my phone and i wanted to share it.
for anyone who is or was sad and never thought of themselves as pretty or never wanted to say it out loud in fear of sounding vain i want you to see this. i myself struggle with finding beauty in my face and body and overall self but i know if i like my nose I'll say it and if my hair looks good for the day I'll say it and even if i like the one sun freckle on my hair or cheek I'll point it out because it makes me feel happy and i should be happy.
I deserve to be happy and so do you.
your dark brown skin is beautiful and i want you never to think of pale as the definition of beauty because it isn't. your skin is the colour of the night sky and you have stars living underneath your skin with your bones. your complexion is so stunning babe and absolutely amazing.
those freckles all over your face and body that you hate are the cutest. i love them. i want to lie by you and try to count them all and watch you giggle when i lose track of number. i want you to know that all those tiny dots on your body make you YOU. and that's what we all need. YOU.
your golden red hair locks are so elegant i hope you know. and your short ginger hair is elegant aswell. i love red hair. i love it soo much it reminds me of Karen Gillian (yes im a giant doctor who fan) who is one of my favourite actresses. you look amazing in your ginger hair babe. absolutely fabulous.
HEY! yes you with the brown eyes!!! your eyes are equally as wonderful as blue or green or hazel eyes because yours are the colour of the earth after it rains. it's gold and copper and light and dark. it's speckled with so many shades of brown it is its own forest, full of the brillant colour.
AND YOU! don't think i forgot about you. your straight long black hair is so cute! you can hair it long like a mermaid and it cuddles your body as you sleep. it protects you from the wind and i love it.
you with your giant BROWN AND BLONDE locks. i could never forget your pretty Afro-like hair. as tangly as it is, it is beautiful. it holds love and compassion and is peaceful and wild all at the same time. it frames your gorgeous face wonderfully. i adore it.
@ the people with hazel and blue and green and any other colour eyes. you should know yours is so pretty. it holds just as much as brown eyes do. they are beautiful too.
@ the people who love their dyed hair. guess what. i love it even more. dyed hair is my favourite. it expresses your personality so much and i think that's amazing. you are truley wonderful and intelligent person. your soul is so full of passion use it. make something out of your pink and green and red and blue and white and black and purple and orange and whatever dyed hair. make yourself. show who you are and don't be afraid.
THE PEOPLE WITH ACNE. treat your skin well. that acne may not treat you the best but think of them as stars. stars that could burst and explode at any second and maybe leave a mark but damn it's a star. it's part of a solar system which is part of a universe which is you. every mark on your body is what makes you who you are and i love them all. every stretch mark and acne scar and whatever it's beautiful to me.
