So if you look on the comments of any of Halsey's instagram posts, you'll say a lot of people screaming that they're gay for her. And personally? I have a major issue with this.
It's really easy to say you're gay when you see a photo of a pretty girl, but it's really not easy to be gay. Or bisexual, like I am. Or anything that's not straight.
If you really want to say you're gay, then tell your parents and watch them change their entire attitudes. Your siblings. All your friends. Feel uncomfortable when they all talk about boys, but when you say anything about girls, they all kind of look away and fidget. Feel targeted when someone says anything homophobic, even when it's not directed at you.
Travel to Russia or Iran, where you're literally illegal. Realize that your friends will never really understand. Hell, come to Pride! You've turned into a target for slurs and mocking jokes.
If you've 'gone gay' because you saw Halsey with blue hair, then deal with the discrimination that comes with it.
I don't think I made myself very clear in this.... long story short, I hate it when people say they're gay and they're not.
