okay hi abbi here !!
it's been a while :(
but ok real talk
so basically everywhere on the internet there's people ranting about how you don't need to have a thigh gap ((or be thin in general)) to be beautiful, and this is 100% okay like i'm not saying that people are wrong by saying this
but sometimes the way people say it, they're body shaming people who are on the skinnier side of the scale
like saying stuff like "thigh gaps look weird why would you want one" and "you can only get one if you have a weird bone structure" is not okay
you have to remember that some people are naturally skinny/small and cannot help that their bodies are the way that they are, and saying that their bodies look weird/unhealthy/sickly/skeletal to make other people who may weigh more feel better is really not okay
it works both ends of the scale; telling somebody to go to the gym or stop eating is just as hurtful as saying somebody needs to eat a few pies and that they're just a bag of bones
like i know this girl who was naturally skinny because she physically had something wrong with her body and she absolutely hated how she couldn't put on weight, and people were constantly making remarks about her weight and how she looked and it wasn't fair at all
just remember that you may think you're helping other people feel better about themselves but you could also be hurting other people's feelings okay !!
like everybody is beautiful okay it doesn't matter if you're lighter taller shorter heavier black white tanned big boobs small boobs big dick small dick long nose button nose scars freckles moles birth marks ANYTHING
like instead of commenting on how people look comment on how they act towards other people and portray themselves because that's what really matters !!
ur all fab ok just shake what you got and don't give a fuck
peace
