hi i'm isabella and i'm american but i have friends who aren't american and i've lived in places outside america and you know what i've noticed??

people split america into these four stereotypical groups and they think that's all anerica is

group 1 - fat people. people think that a ton of america is just fat. sure there's some overweight people but there's overweight people E V E R Y W H E R E

group 2 - sunshine people. like florida/california where people think it's always sunny and they're rich and skinny and pretty and are always on the beach and partying and shit and no that's not what happens everywhere in Florida and california. California has a million earthquakes and Florida has snakes and alligators that will fucking eat you. It's not party land

group 3 - rednecks/southerners. The people who drink ever and party and watch football and own trucks and shit like that. "Typical 'muicans". yes, there are some people like that but that isn't even half of us

and group 4 - New York. Now when non Americans think of this they tend to include New Jersey in here as well and they think that it's just rude ass people in cities with strong accents that drink coffee all the time. I've been up there more times than I can count and I've met maybe one person with a stereotypical accent and not everyone up there is rude

now let me tell you something

THERES MORE TO AMERICA THAN THESE GROUPS, OKAY? WE'RE NOT ALL PARTY PEOPLE WHO GET DRUNK AND WE'RE NOT ALL TAN AND WE'RE NOT ALL FAT AND WE'RE NOT ALL RUDE

WE'RE ACTUALLY A PRETTY FUCKING AMAZING COUNTRY ((WHO BTW BEAT GHANA IN THE WORLD CUP LIKE FUCK YEA)) AND THERES SO MANY DIFFERENT GROUPS IN IT AND DONT FUCKING STEREOTYPE US.

like sometimes I stereotype America but I can do that bc I'm American and I'm joking but if you've never set foot in America don't go categorizing us as these freak show groups who combined don't even add up to half out population

now i don't even know if this rant made sense but yea
