Theo
In a matter of hours I find myself at Valentina's doorstep holding a bouquet of a variety of flowers. The same ones as I bought on our date because she seems to have liked them.
I knock and patiently wait as I hear her heels clicking on the other side of the door.
Her house is nice. A one story suburban home with a dark wooden door. Her porch is spacey and has a swing by a window. Pots with plants sit on each side of her door and a light on the wall by her door lights up the area.
The door swings open and I find myself in awe. In awe of Valentina that is. Her gown is black and floor length. One side is sleeveless while the other has a sleeve covering the length of her arm. Her leg is uncovered by the slit in her dress which leads my eyes to the black heels she's wearing. A small black clutch is in her arms, with a silver coach logo. Her silver jewelry matching the logo beautifully.
"You look," I smile, looking back at her face that's just as beautiful. "So beautiful, so perfect."
"Thank you." She smiles, her eyes go down my all black suit, "you also look handsome, so perfect."
I resist the urge to break out in the largest smile. "Thank you amor." I hand her the bouquet and watch her eyes light up. "These are for you."
Her eyes flicker to the flowers and just like last time her face holds a look of awe. "Perfect timing," she grins, "my others one are beginning to dry." I note that it's been a little over a week and I should probably buy her another when the time comes. "Thank you Theo, they're lovely."
She opens her door a little more and lets me follow her inside as she grabs another vase. Her previous bouquet is on the center of her dinning table, her newer one is placed on her kitchen counter.
I watch as she turns around and places her arms around my neck. The look in her eyes speaks a thousand words. Words that she voices, "you don't know how much I appreciate you, Theo." She leans in and places a chaste kiss on my lips leaving me in a daze.
I inhale her floral scent and place my hands on her hips. "And I, you, Valentina. More than you'll ever know."
"Yeah?" She smiles looking up at me. I nod, watching as she slowly leans in. This time her kiss isn't as chaste. Valentina hums when she parts my lips with her own, our tongues and teeth clashing.
I groan feeling how she tugs on my lower lip. She uses her grip around my neck to pull me in closer, using her lips this time to suck on my lip till it pulses.
Her arms go down my arms. Down my chest. Making my breath speed up more than it already is. As much as it pains me, I grip her wrists stopping her. "If you continue we'll miss our reservations."
She pauses and seems to be debating, "To where?"
"Martín's." I mumble the name of the restaurant downtown.
Her lips tug down into a frown before forming a pout. She places small repeated kissing on my face before pulling away solemnly. "We absolutely can't miss our reservations. I love the place."
"Then we best get going." I hum grabbing her hands in mine.
Valentina nods and uses her thumb to wipe something away from my face. "Lipstick." She giggles, "Is mine messed up?"
I run my thumb over her bottom lip, fixing the tiny smudge, and shake my head. "It's perfect."
Valentina is nothing but smiles and laughs as we eat our dinner. She talks about her favorite dishes and drinks from this place.
