Valentina
"Theo!" I exclaim. I stare at the game board mouth agape. He's won this stupid game three times in a row.
After the movie ended we cleaned up the mess from dinner, well Theo cleaned and told me to rest. After, I could tell he felt reluctant to leave and strangely enough I felt a longing for more time with him. Hence I suggested we play a game, which proved to be stupid.
In all honesty I wasn't expecting Theo to stop by. It was unexpected and I wasn't prepared in the slightest bit. I was in my pajamas and my face was bare yet Theo never once made me feel uncomfortable.
When I opened my door I couldn't help the happiness I felt. Theo and I may have only met just about two months ago but this man holds the strange power to make me happy.
When I saw him there twirling the rose he brought me I was about ready to melt. When he made me dinner I'm pretty sure I actually did melt. Then he cuddled me as we watched a movie — which probably wasn't good for my bpm because his close proximity makes my heart race — and now we're sprawled out on my living room floor with a game board I haven't used in ages.
"You can't get mad every time I win." The amused glint in his eyes makes me scoff.
"I'm not mad!" I huff, "you must be cheating." I frown because there's no way I suck this much at board games.
"Cheating?" He lets out a laugh. It's an amusedly exasperated laugh but still manages to make my stomach woozy. "Amor, I'm not cheating. I just understand the elements of money management."
My jaw drops at his comment. "Are you insinuating I don't know how to manage money?"
"You splurged on every property." He raises a brow, "all of your money is gone."
"Well I keep landing in jail! How is that fair? You just have a weird amount of luck." I roll my eyes and gather all the little cards.
I'm glad Theo showed up tonight. I feel that we bonded more tonight and... I'm not sure what the right words are but I think we are deeper into whatever we stared now.
I place all the little cards back in their designated spots and turn to Theo. "A different game?" A small spark of hope lights his eyes as he asks me.
"You want to?" I chuckle looking at the clock. "It's getting late and I wouldn't want to disturb your schedule."
Theo's fingers clasp around my wrist and he tugs on it pulling me closer. When I'm close enough he grabs me by my hips and pulls me over till I'm straddling him.
"You could never disturb my schedule." He murmurs and tucks hair behind my ears. "You Valentina," he sighs cupping my face, "can keep me up all night, text me whenever, call me whenever," he lists with pure sincerity, "and it would never be a disturbance."
I swallow thickly loving the way I can hear the truth in his words. Theo's magic way of always making me happy just may be one of the things that leads me to fall for him. Because what he said right now? It made me insanely happy.
"Yeah?" I whisper grabbing the hem of his shirt.
His eyes drop to my lips and he gives me a little nod. I love when he looks at me like that. Like I'm the only thing he sees. Like he wants to explore all of me and never get tired of it. When his eyes drop lower I know he sees my nipples hardening through the thin material of my tank top.
I feel him swell under me and funnily enough I have the urge to drop myself lower so I can feel him harder against me.
And I do. I spread my knees further on each side of him and gasp when his hardness presses against the spot between my legs. The spot that's probably going to be soaking my thin little shorts any time now.
