"Ahh!" I shriek, pulling my hands away from the electric drill. Theo looks at me with an unimpressed look.

Brian has been wanting to build the bassinet so he's putting it together, I took on one of the dressers despite Theo telling me to let him help. He's already built the bookshelf and put the rocking chair together.

We've already done three coats of paint on the walls, we've been here since morning and it's almost eleven. After the furniture is built we'll be ready to surprise Brooke tomorrow, that is if I'm able to put this dresser together.

"What?" I mumble peaking at Theo. I blow my hair out of my face and go to grab the electric drill again and one of the screws.

He shakes his head and leans against the doorframe as he watches me. "Nothing."

I place the screw to the dent in the wood where it's supposed to go before bringing the drill to the top of the screw. Just as I'm about to press the button Theo speaks up, "do you need help?"

"I can do it." I sit up straighter and tighten my grip on the drill. "I know I can."

"I never said you couldn't," he lets out an amused huff, "just let me help you."

"Fine." I scoff and move over, I gently place the drill on the carpet. I'm only letting him because that thing is terrifying. He squats down next to me and picks up the drill and screw I had. He grabs a wide piece of wood along with a narrower one, he places the screw where they intersect and pushes down on the drill. The screw is in within a matter of seconds, he doesn't again and in the span of five minutes he makes one of the pull out drawers.

"See? easy." He murmurs seeing my frown. "Come here, you'll help me."

"Are you sure?" I give him a skeptical look, "what if the drill tangles in my hair?"

"I won't let it," he sets himself on the ground and spreads his legs, "come here."

I hesitantly crawl over and settle myself in between his legs. He gathers my hair, takes my rubber band from my wrist, and ties my hair into a messy bun at the back of my head. "Alright, I'm going to guide you okay?"

I nod and grab hold of the drill he places on my right hand. He grabs two of the boards and holds them together with one hand. "Place the screw in the center and drill through both of the boards." He instructs.

"How do I get it perfectly in the center?" I ask, a little nervously. The last thing I was is to mess it up.

"As close to the center as possible, baby. It can be off by a little."

I nod and place the screw where I think is the center of the two boards. Theo's hand comes over mine to help hold the drill steady as I place it over the screw. "Press the button." He says, and when I do the screw drills through both boards in a matter of seconds.

I grin when I see that half of the second drawer is done. Theo helps me with the other side and the bottom board, and before I know it, I've built one of the drawers to the dresser.

Theo kisses my smile with one of his own. "Perfect, now let's do the next one." He guides me through all of the drawers just like he did my first one then we move on to the main boards for the dresser.

He moves across from me where he lays out the large instructions papers. "These are thicker, so they'll be tougher to get through okay?" He opens up a plastic bag of thicker screws and places them into my plan.

I nod and close my palm around them. "We can do it." He sends me a grin and starts to hold the two larger pieces of wood together. "These are also heavier, so you'll have to drill alone."
