David and Nerissa were the first to stir. Nerissa, awoke to find himself hugging Nerissa. Nerissa blinked her eyes open, feeling the warmth of David's embrace.
"What... what are you doing in my bed?" she exclaimed, her eyes wide with confusion.
David, equally startled, looked around and realized they were not in a bed at all but on the couch in the living room where they had all crashed after their long day.
"where am I?" Nerissa said.
David, rubbing his eyes, answered, "We're in the living room. I guess we must have fallen asleep here after getting home."
