"I didn't realise the time." He glanced outside, seeing the sun was beginning to head west, casting an orange colour. Groaning, he placed a palm on his forehead, running it through his hair. The headache had gotten worse already. He flinged away the paper in his hand in both pain and anger, making a hissing sound.

A cat crawled up to his thighs, nuzzling his finger and biting it playfully, it purred, sensing the man didn't acknowledge it, it made his way to his shoulder, feathering his tail on his face and positioned itself directly at his head, purring softly. "Even you too sensed I have a headache," He whispered, eyes closed, the cat meowed, running his tongue at the base of his ear, "And she said I was lying, she didn't say it directly. Well, I am not and I understand why she said it." He actually loved how she defended herself.

"I should've stayed with her and cleared things up. If it was I, I would've said the same. She was almost poisoned. O God!" His head pounded him, he could feel the veins. "And all I did was....I can't even imagine...." He groaned again, "I'm sorry."

The cat yowled, jumping back on his lap, he made a way to pick it up but the cat growled, rejecting his advances, "You too hmm! I guess I should go to her." But the ginger cat already made its way out to her side. Or so he thought.

Someone tried to poison her? Had the audacity. She had an episode with the rumours and now....poison? What if she had eaten it? "Don't, don't think about it." He clasped his head between his hands, feeling the fast beating of his pulse. He was scared.

He was so scared that he thought about what would have happened to her if she didn't notice the poison. The way his father was murdered years ago replayed in his head and the life he had lived after that. Her Kingdom and it's people.... How would he face them? "No no no no no no no no. No! Stop it!" He sighed, looking around, "I'm going mad!" He could feel his heart in his throat. At that moment, he doesn't care whether she meant it when she said he lied.

"Dosha. My Queen! I have to see her. Apologise to her." The poison scenario was still playing on in his head. "I feel terrible." He glanced outside again, "There's no time."

For a moment she thought he had lied about being sick, but then, she held his hands, they were hot. She looked in his eyes.

'Have I ever lied to you?' The question kept on repeating over and over in her head.

"I didn't mean it, Rashid. I was just annoyed with what you said." She whispered to herself. She tried calling him as he walked out but her voice failed her, he wouldn't even listen. Or could he have stopped? She could've tried at least.

She groaned frustratedly into her bed and sat upright. She had to make it up to him. She had accused him. Not literally though.

She stood up and bent over, something snapped, it dawned on her as beads pooled up around her, dancing till they settled, "WHY?!" She hissed, rounding up her waist beads that think they could just cut in that moment. She disgustedly pulled the rubber that bound them off her waist. "Of all time! This isn't the issue now." She will attend to those later.

"Whoever it is that tried to poison me would never go scot-free. He or she has caused problem for me within little moment," She sighed, "Firstly, thank God you didn't eat the poison."

This isn't the first time they had an argument or issue, but it was not like this. She felt like she had disappointed him. She didn't trust him fully? He questioned her trust. Her heart thumped in her chest leaving a wrench in her. "I'm sorry."

She groaned frustratedly, thinking about the poison scenario, she hissed, closing her eyes, "Secondly, forget about anything that has to do with this poison and find a way to apologise to him. He is sick, you confirmed it yourself." Her heart almost sank as she glanced outside to see the day. "What!" How long had she been sitting there?
