"There is no man in charge"

Lila's phone wrang, as she and Matias, who she had met earlier were sitting in a café, Matias nervously looking around, as Lila's sword rested on the side of the table.

The group had split up, Mallory and MM over at Vogelbaum's, trying to convince him to testify against Vought, after all, a former CSO would know at least a few insider secrets.

At least, that's where the two thought they were, it'd been a little longer than they thought, which lead to them believing he was a bit of a harder sell.

Hughie was with Lamplighter, the former Seven member at Mallory's cushy retirement spot, Frenchie and Kimiko were stationed near Congresswoman Victoria Neuman's house, acting as a bodyguard in case something or someone popped up.

And Butcher was who knows where.

That was until Lila answered the phone, hearing what could only be described as a disgruntled and clearly drunk Butcher.

"MM and Mallory have had a piss up at Vogelbaum's... need you to take care of it" Butcher requested.

"Sounds like something you'd like to do" Lila chuckled. "But yeah, I'll get to it"

At the Vogelbaum estate, Lila and Matias stood outside the gate, as Lila rang the bell, signalling a younger woman to come over the speaker.

"Jonah's not taking any visitors today" The voice informed them.

"That's all well and good, but you need to tell him he's only gotta deal with one more visit" Lila told the box.

"No thank you" The woman said quickly as the box shut off.

"...Oh" Lila hummed, turning to Matias. "Well I tried"

Matias looked into the window and could faintly see the woman, talking to Jonah. Matias focused himself as stretched out his hand.

Jonah and his daughter were talking after she had hung up. But Jonah was quickly caught off guard when her head snapped upwards.

"Sonia?" He asked concerned as his daughter seemed to move like a robot.

Sonia bashed into a few walls, pushing a few expensive vases over as her face was completely blank.

Back outside the gates, Lila was using binoculars to see into the window as Matias shook his hands around.

"Little to the left...little more...okay down now, no go down!" Lila barked orders.

"I'm trying!" Matias stressed.

Sonia ran backwards, and her back collided with a wall, a wall that just so happened to have a button that opened the gate, which was pretty lucky.

Sonia was on the floor, having had her uses fulfilled, as the front door clicked. 

Jonah could only watch from his wheelchair as Lila and Matias entered through the door, staring him down as Lila stepped forward, her katana unsheathed.

"Lets talk..."

Butcher was in a bar, when all of a sudden his phone rang, seeing it was from Lila he picked up.
