It was one year since you and your team took down Stormfront, since you, Ava and Lila had a little...celebration, and around 7 months since Jonas Laker was killed.
The news claimed it was a home break in, but you know Jonas would never die like that, and you suspected your parents knew too, though they never said anything.
Everyone came to the funeral, well, almost everyone, Butcher never showed, which you had expected. But to your surprise, Lila didn't either.

You'd tried to find the home invaders who killed Jonas, but the police assured you they had already been punished, you watched the trial on TV.
As you sat in silence, the door opened a little, and the light flipped on, causing you to flinch a bit.

"You weren't in bed...I got a little worried you were out again" Ava spoke softly, as you pinched the bridge of your nose.
"Yeah I'm...fine...just got a busy day, there's this interview, then I got a meeting with Stan and Armstrong about The Av-" You were cut off.
Ava kissed you, as you felt your problems melt away, holding her close, eventually she separated.
"Don't worry about it...you're gonna smash this like you smash everything" Ava smiled. "And then after...there's one more thing you can smash"
