-The Devil You Know-
-Chapter Fifteen Point Five: Kill The Sun Syndicate-
"Wes was right?"
-Orlando - Florida-
The tv blared in a dimly lit room, as the man watching it continuously glanced up and down to the tv, as he spent his time drawing on a notebook.
The Cameron Coleman hour was on, and he was interviewing you and Dillon, following the saving of Flight 54.
The man wasn't watching because he was a fan of Cameron, not many people in his circle were, and he wasn't watching because of you.
He was watching because his son was the other person being interviewed.
Doctor Wes Levi, otherwise known as Forecast, was an integral member of The Sun Syndicate in its heyday.
His power of future sight allowed him to see crimes before they even happened, that coupled with the fact he was probably the best hand to hand fighter, it left him pretty popular as a ninja type among the teenage boys of the 90's.
That was until one month following The Sun Syndicate's retirement, where Wes's power turned on him.
The biggest mystery of The Sun Syndicate centred around Wes, while normally when he focusses, he can only see around a day or two into the future, he once saw a lot further.
Most likely due to his age taking a toll on the power, it supposedly shot him far into the future. People still heavily debate what exactly he saw.
Anywhere from the death of all The Sun Syndicate members, to the end of the world as we know it, all the way to what happens after we die or the heat death of the universe.
Whatever it was, it turned him into almost a shut in, he still occasionally visited the other members of The Syndicate, but that was rare.
So he spent most of his days smoking and watching tv, completely separating himself from his hero identity, he'd hardly thought about using his power.
Though as old as he was, he didn't have much of a choice, he used to be able to control his power super finely, now its much more of a guesstimate.
There was a knock at the door, alerting Wes to it, at such an hour it couldn't be anything good, but he stood up anyway and walked over, opening it.
It was hard to see just how many soldiers were at the door since it was so dark outside, but he could guess at least ten.
"Can I help you officer?" Wes asked tiredly.
The officer didn't say much initially, as he looked briefly over Wes, shining a torch in his face, before grabbing his rifle.
"THAT'S OUR GUY!" The lead yelled.
