autumn stepped back. as much as she knew she could over power her father, something was different. he was more intimidating than normal, autumn knew he had planned something. they needed to get out of the building. and get out very very fast.

the hallway had 4 people in. marjorie, reece autumn and ratty roger. marjorie had dealt with roger before, but this was different. normally she would have to protect herself, or reece. but now she had to look after autumn, and a weakened autumn for sure.

"dad please can you leave the nursery. you arent in charge anymore, you cant be in here." reece said, trying to protect autumn with his words.

"pipe down reece seriously. who do you think you are. i mean remember around 15 years ago. a little boy. a little, fat, ugly, weak, unliked boy. no one likes you reece. and no one ever will" roger smirked, he had riled up reece.

reece couldnt take it. the reminders of the awful childhood he had. reece stepped forward and swung at roger. marjorie was quick to stop him. if they were going to do anything it needed to be outside. the children didnt need to see this. the trauma it could cause would be detrimental.

"oh reece. same old reecey. his anger gets to him and he needs his princess to save. hah. oh and marjorie, i had never thought you would get with him. i mean, reece is ghastly to look at. but even he could do better. god you are ugly." roger laughed once again.

marjorie looked at him dead in the eye. the fact he had the audacity to comment was wild.

autumn couldnt let this happen. first to her brother and now her best friend. 

"please leave, father. or else. you wont be out here alive." autumn narrowed  her eyes.

"oh please. what are you going to. seriously autumn, fire it at me. you are just like when you was a child. always wanting to be the strongest. well hunny, thats not always going to happen. you are weak autumn. and that will never be different." roger said, satisfied with the reaction.

autumn stormed out. followed by marjorie, reece was giving their father a 'talking to'. any other time autumn would have knocked his lights out. but the pregnancy was getting to her. the hormones werent helping.

"dad. seriously you are taking this too far. i cant believe what you are doing to aut." reece said to him.

at that moment, winter walked by. he didnt hear the whole convosation. he just heard 9 words. 9 words that send him over the wall. 'i cant believe what you are doing to aut'.

winter was a calm man. he never really confronted people, unless they were parents of course. but this time, he had to. his only love was being hurt. and not only that, but their child.

"what the fuck are you doing to my love." winter said, storming in.

"oh be quiet. what are you going to do? tell me off to your mum.??" roger laughed.

without warning, winter threw a punch knocking roger down to floor.

"what are going to do about that, huh?" winter turned away and laughed.

reece was stunned. from that moment on, he knew that winter was the perfect man for autumn. if he was willing to fight for autumn, he was willing to look after her.

winter headed straight to the office. he found autumn there, sobbing into marjories arms.

"oh my god autumn." winter ran straight over.

autumn ran straight into his open arms. letting all her emotion out.

she was a strong women. there was no doubt about it. yet the hormones were slowly killing her. some people it causes angry, yet for autumn it caused many many tears.

"i cant believe what my dad said. i hate him winter i really do." autumn sobbed into him.

"well darling you wont have to worry about him. currently old rog is laid on the floor." winter giggled.

"oh did reece knock him out" autumn looked up and wiped her eyes.

"no darling, i did."

autumn looked up into winters eyes with a perplexed look. winter was never one to solve something with violence, yet he did it for her.

marjorie stood absolutely gob smacked. she had known winter for a long time, and all she knew he had done was smack someone in year 7. and then it dawned on her why he had done it. he did it to protect autumn. marjories eyes filled with tears, happy tears of course.

as winter held onto autumn, marj couldnt contain her excitement. the fact autumn had found the perfect true love was amazing. especially since it was her best friend, and soon to be sister in law.

"OH MY GOD! WINTER THAT IS THE CUTEST THING EVERR!!" marjorie squealed.

autumn smiled, and so did winter.

"marjorie can we please have a minute, alone." autumn said.

"yes yes of course. you love birds!"

autumn sat down on marjories chair, and winter remained stood.

"why did you do that for me darling, i know you dont feel comfortable doing that sort of stuff." autumn asked.

"i did it for you my love. everything i do is always for you. i want you, autumn knight, to have the most perfect life. even if you had an awful childhood, i want to make you realise how amazing life is. i love you autumn. never ever forget that."
