"Long time no see, Lucifer," Vox said, his voice dripping with malice as he stepped into the classroom.
Lucifer looked up from his desk, eyes narrowing at the sight of Vox standing in the doorway. "Vox," he acknowledged, his voice steady despite the sudden rush of adrenaline. "What are you doing here?"
Vox took a few steps forward, his sinister smile never wavering. "Oh, just thought I'd pay an old friend a visit. Have a little chat."
Lucifer forced himself to remain calm, though every instinct screamed to get out. "This isn't the place or time for this. You need to leave."
Vox chuckled darkly, shaking his head. "Leave? After all the trouble I've gone through to see you? No, I think I'll stay a while. We have so much to catch up on."
Lucifer's eyes flickered to the door, wondering if he could somehow alert someone without Vox noticing. "You know you're risking everything by being here. The police are looking for you."
"Risk?" Vox's smile twisted into a sneer. "I have nothing left to lose, thanks to you. But you... you've got everything to lose."
Before Lucifer could respond, the door swung open again, and Alastor's father strode in, his presence even more intimidating than Vox's. Lucifer's heart pounded in his chest as the older man looked around the room with a disdainful sneer.
"Where's that useless brat?" Alastor's father demanded, his eyes cold and searching. "Where's your little pet?"
Lucifer bristled, standing up straighter. "Don't call him that. Alastor isn't here."
Alastor's father raised an eyebrow, clearly not pleased with Lucifer's tone. "Is that so? And where might he be? Off hiding somewhere, scared out of his wits?"
"Alastor is none of your concern," Lucifer replied firmly. "You need to leave. Both of you."
Vox and Alastor's father exchanged a glance, a silent understanding passing between them. Vox stepped closer, his expression darkening. "You see, Lucifer, we have some unfinished business. And I don't think we're going anywhere until it's settled."
Lucifer's heart raced as Vox took another step closer, the malice in his eyes growing more intense. Vox's presence was overwhelming, and when he bent down to bring his face inches from Lucifer's, the air felt stifling.
"You've got a lot of nerve, don't you?" Vox sneered, his voice low and dangerous. "Thinking you can turn me in and get away with it."
Lucifer clenched his fists, his jaw tightening. "You belong in prison, Vox. You got what you deserved."
Vox's smile twisted into something more sinister as he reached out and touched Lucifer's shoulder. "Oh, I don't think so. This isn't over by a long shot."
The touch was the breaking point. Before he knew it, Lucifer's fist connected with Vox's face, sending the man stumbling back. Vox's laughter echoed in the room, a maniacal sound that chilled Lucifer to the bone.
Alastor's father moved forward, examining the bruise forming on Vox's cheek. "Looks like he's got some fight in him after all."
Vox raised a hand to stop him, his eyes never leaving Lucifer. "No, this is what I've been waiting for. Let me handle it."
Without warning, Vox launched himself at Lucifer, and the classroom erupted into chaos. Lucifer fought back with everything he had, but Vox was relentless, fueled by a deep-seated rage. Punches and kicks were exchanged, the sounds of their struggle filling the room.
