I should be updating my other story rather than double updating this one but oh well..

The following day's classes sped by in a blur for Alastor. From Mrs. Velvette's lackluster history lecture to Mr. Stolas's engaging discourse, and finally to Mr. Ozzie's thought-provoking theories, the school day rushed past in a whirlwind. As Alastor exited the college building, he couldn't shake the feeling of being trailed by Chaz, who seemed impervious to Alastor's subtle hints of disinterest.
"Not heading back to the dorms, huh?" Chaz remarked casually, his curiosity piqued.
"Nope, I've got other plans," Alastor replied curtly, hoping to discourage further probing.
Chaz persisted, undeterred. "So, where are you off to?"
Alastor hesitated, debating whether to divulge the information. Eventually, he relented, though reluctantly. "I'm picking up Lucifer's daughter from daycare."
Chaz's eyebrows shot up in surprise. "Lucifer has a daughter?"
"Yeah," Alastor confirmed shortly.
"How old is she?" Chaz inquired further.
"Six," Alastor answered tersely.
Chaz's mind raced with calculations. "And how old is Lucifer?"
"Twenty-one," Alastor replied, feeling irritation gnaw at him.
Chaz's thoughts seemed to tumble out in an awkward attempt to piece things together. "So, he must've had her when he was fifteen, huh?"
Alastor bristled at Chaz's insinuation but remained silent, hoping Chaz wouldn't delve further into baseless accusations.
Then, Chaz blurted out thoughtlessly, "Holy shit! Did Lucifer assault someone?"
Alastor stopped dead in his tracks, his temper flaring at the accusation. "You really have no idea what you're talking about," he growled, barely containing his anger.
Chaz, oblivious to Alastor's rising fury, pressed on with another jab. "Why are you even picking up Lucifer's kid? Can't he handle it?"
"He's not available right now," Alastor responded through gritted teeth, his patience wearing thin.
Chaz's insensitive remark pushed Alastor over the edge. "He's probably at home crying over losing his job, like that's the end of the world."
That was the breaking point. Alastor turned abruptly and delivered a solid punch to Chaz's jaw, sending him sprawling to the ground. Without a second thought, Alastor pounced on Chaz, unleashing his frustration in a flurry of blows.
"You have no idea what you're talking about" his voice laced with anger and hurt. Each punch carried the weight of Lucifer's anguish, the stress of trying to support his daughter alone, and the pain of seeing someone he trusted betray him.
Amid the scuffle, Alastor's words rang out sharply. "Lucifer is struggling because of you! You couldn't keep your mouth shut, could you? You've caused him so much pain and you don't even care!"
Chaz tried to shield himself, managing to stammer out weak protests amidst the barrage. "I... I didn't mean..."
Alastor wasn't listening. His fists continued to rain down, fueled by a mix of protective rage and sorrow. "You think this is a joke? This is someone's life you've messed with!"

Rosie sat in her office at the daycare, the faint sounds of children playing echoing in the background as she enjoyed a moment of quiet with her tea. Her peace shattered abruptly when she glanced out the window and saw a commotion unfolding just beyond the daycare's perimeter. Setting down her tea with a clatter, she hurriedly closed any curtains that might offer a view outside, shielding the children from the unfolding drama.
